Snake Without a Tongue

I hide in the tram tunnel. It's a free, easy and quick way to lose a wanted level. Lately though I'm still get that one star wanted level for armored trucks.

Seriously lester. I never drove behind an armored truck in my life and said "hey look lets grab some cash, easy money"

You have two methods:

1. Roll up, throw sticky, stand back, detonate and hey-presto cash. Loose 3 stars either via Lester or head for a tunel and you're golden.

2. Wait for the truck to stop, shotgun the back doors and hey-presto cash. Loose 3 stars either via Lester or head for a tunel and you're golden.

Very easy money indeed.

easiest way...

locate the truck.

block the road with a car.

walk to the back door.

shoot them with the autoshutgun with suppressor.

Profit

this is how i do it and get no wanted level.

No I mean if it was real life. Lester says it like its an everyday thing "easy money" but then worries about sh*t like stealing secret weapons from the government

So what's the Armored truck glitch does it work for MP or SP or even for both lol..please someone explain im interested in this!

My technique

1) Drive in front of the truck

2) Shoot the driver in the face

3) go to the rear, assault shotgun the back doors till the money falls out

4) drive away a bit and change your sunglasses/mask

5) Evade 2 stars instead of 3

6) Done :)

EDIT: Sounds like the silenced auto-shotty works better! I will be trying that!

It's like robbing shops it's easy as long as you don't mess it up.

Rockstar don't care. I've also never -in my life- encountered a load screen but if I should do, say a mission for Lester, the game proper will load (can't avoid that one, even on next gen), then I'll load a hosted lobby screen. Then I'll load the mission. Then when it's done, I'll load the vote screen, then it loads the next job or next freeroam. That's at least 5 loadscreens from one freeroam to next.

So yeah... armoured trucks are easy money (I got 11k once) because Rockstar don't care about making 'a world.' They want to make 'activities' to keep us busy.

I usually use a suppressed micro SMG or AP pistol on the doors while it's sitting at a stoplight. Get right up to the doors and shoot the center between the handles. After a short burst the doors will open and the cash will drop out right at your feet..

I never get a wanted level. Worse that happens is the guard will get out and attack but you can just ignore him and get away.

Cool Never tried it that way. I only have a suppressor on one of my pistols. I like em LOUD!! :p

I've been doing armored trucks a lot recently thanks to the infinite spawning glitch, if that is what it is. It has to be the most profitable activity I have done in GTAO. I've been doing it with my partner in private sessions. I wouldn't bother trying in a public game. We usually make $250,000 to $300,000 each in a hour or two, but on Sunday night we made a million each in around 3 hours I think. The way we've been doing it is trying to keep them spawning near the central LSC so we can lose the stars easily and go and rob another. Half the time we haven't even got stars since we've robbed them when they stop at the lights and we've been using auto shotties with silencers and stooped - we recon that stooping might allow stealth stats to play their part. Yesterday with the update though the police seem to be more on the ball so it's not as easy, but still pretty easy. Here's what we've been doing:

- to set them off, we've been doing missions and returning to a private freemode. It seems that they start to spawn pretty often after we've done Rooftop Rumble; and I'm not sure, but it seems that they start spawning during the day, not at night.

- we'll rob the first one and then head straight to the LSC to bring the spawning nearer to there.

- sometimes, after the robbing one, the truck disappears from the robber's mini map, but not the other person's mini map. When this happens, the spawning tends to stop until the other player goes to the robbed truck to look at it. It then disappears from their mini map and another one spawns.

- spawning stops when a high priority Simon vehicle appears on the map, but if we go and blow it up, spawning starts again almost immediately.

- spawning seems to favour one player, so that player has to keep bringing them back to the city centre, you don't want them on the motorway or in the hills as things can get complicated there and since there are no traffics lights, you have to use stickies to rob them and the explosions attract more stars it seems.

- we use motorbikes for transport - much faster and more convenient than cars and very low insurance in case the police get you.

- we never bother killing the security guards since half the time, even if the guard shoots at you, if you don't shoot, no stars.

The most we've had out of a single truck is about 12k I think, but since they can keep going for so long it adds up to a lot of money in the end. We've made a shed full of money on this to date. Hope someone finds this useful.

Wow, some of you guys like doing things the hard way. [email protected] stickies, blocking the truck, and shooting the driver, waste of time and money. Follow the truck to a red light, pull in right behind the truck as it's coming to a stop. Jump out w/ mask on, assault shotgun (silenced) w/ 2 shots dead center between the HANDLES (same spot you need to hit with your stickies to be effective). Do it right, driver won't even get out of the truck and no wanted level. Mask just in case, you can take it off a block away and lose the helicopter. And for the guys who say no money dropped, odds are you did it on the run with a sticky, keep in mind the bags always fall where you detonated the bomb, so it's highly likely you drove past them, or an NPC driver ran them over and scattered them.

Because it's a video game where dying isn't permanent and getting "caught" by the cops for felonies and murders just results in you "dying" and starting outside a hospital a few grand less rich than before.

Blame Scotland.

There's one guy in my crew who never gets kiney when he units armored trucks. It's happened to me one or twice I think they don't give out money when u blow up surrounding sh*t. I got 60 grand in like 10 minutes the other day hitting armored cars near an lsc they kept spawning I kept gettin em and riding right into lsc. Easy peasy

When the robber doesn't see the truck but the other player does, don't chase it unless it's close to you, go inside your garage instead if you keep them in the city like we do. When you come back out it'll respawn. Also, note when this happens, it's usually the host of the session who still sees it if you're in invite only. Edited by jbarb78

Use the assault shotgun, you have to aim center between the handles, or you'll be blasting that thing until the cops show up.

Only use sticky bombs if you are in a HURRY meaning other people are close. I jus wait for it to stop behind a car or at a red light, get out n use the assault shotgun.

I know. I did it before. For some reason this time around the doors didn't open, and for some reason the whole truck explode with a sticky bomb.

You don't even get the cash sometimes, it's just a waste of a $600 sticky :sneaky:

Only if you blow up the entire truck...

How is this NOT easy?

Step 1: Throw sticky on back doors

Step 2: Make sure you and other cars are clear from the truck to avoid blowing up entire truck.

Step 3: Detonate

Step 4: Go to LSC/apartment/call lester/evade cops

Which step is difficult?

I mean the truck doesnt even drop the cash sometimes. you perfectly place a sticky on the back doors and blow them up, it says cash has been dropped but theres no cash on the ground.

Maybe they glitch under the map ?

Hmm strange. I've hit countless amounts of armored trucks. Never happened once.

I've seen the truck explode when other cars are too close and all the money is incinerated.

I've also seen where someone has already hit the truck, yet it still pops up on the map as if it's a new truck, and no cash will drop even though the doors are shut.

Lastly, I've seen the cash not pop up for a couple seconds, particularly if the truck is moving pretty fast. And you have to go back and find it.

Also, every time I've died, the cash disappears.

Other than that it's 100% for me.

If 20% of the trucks you hit aren't dropping, I'm inclined to think there's something you're doing wrong. No disrespect, that's just a really big disparity.

The shotty method has never been consistent for me. I've blasted the back doors dead center with a full clip and nothing. That was months ago. I've been going with stickies ever since.

I'm doing wrong?!

Ah yea thats right it's my fault that the Armored Trucks doesnt drop the cash, even though i'm doing it right because i still get the RP.

F U C K Y O U !

Funny, that's the exact type of response I'd expect from someone who can't admit that just maybe they are responsible for their own misfortune.

I've had this a couple times. I'm not sure if it was a truck someone had already hit, a glitch with the cash or a glitch with the truck. It's annoying but it happens. Selling a Baller should more or less make up for what you've missed out on though.
