How is robbing from an armored truck easy money?

so simple, drive in front and stop, pull out the auto shotgun and kill the driver and his passenger, go round the back and shoot the doors off, get cash, get in said truck and drive away to hide from the cops.

 

the key is not to hit the truck before pulling in front and stopping it, otherwise it runs and you chase after it with cops all over your arse and it gets messy and costly.

I mean the truck doesnt even drop the cash sometimes. you perfectly place a sticky on the back doors and blow them up, it says cash has been dropped but theres no cash on the ground.

 

Maybe they glitch under the map ?

no hes right... id say about 20% for me i hit the back doors with a sticky, the truck doors open, the truck keeps driving away with the doors opened, and no money bags drop...

My kid got like 40k last night in a matter of 5 min. when they were spawning like mad, didnt call Lester. Just kept going till he died. I was too tired to go upstairs and sign on to join him, otherwise it would've probably kept going.

thats what im doing... one sticky, center of the back doors. hit reverse, detonate... doors open, truck drives away and nothing drops...

its not all the time but its happened enough to be annoying

More often than not, I get them not dropping anything even though they say they have and to be honest, I don't really see that many trucks anyway, only if I'm lucky enough to join a server with 1-2 high ranked players.

well if you're going to be lazy and use an expensive sticky bomb, don't be surprised if sometimes it also blows up the cash and drops burned cinders, using a shotgun I've never lost one lot of cash, but hey, each to their own I suppose.

I'm rusty as hell, played for the first time in months yesterday. As soon as I left my garage on my Akuma one spawned, pulled out the sawed off and no problem. They are slow as hell and stop at red lights.

 

Get out and shoot it with the auto-shotty and it's like 2 shots.

Step 2: Shoot the back doors with the assault shotgun.

Step 3: Call Lester and remove wanted level

Step 4: ?????

Stickies work fine just make sure there is no cars near truck and stand back or everything just blows to sh*t.

Not sure if it mattered but he's a lvl 113 and they put him in a session with 5 low levels 4-30.

Half the time using the assault shotgun method I get no stars.

Only problem with it is if there's an other player who wants the money they can run you over before you shoot, so in these situations stickie out the car window wins.

Hmm strange. I've hit countless amounts of armored trucks. Never happened once.

 

I've seen the truck explode when other cars are too close and all the money is incinerated.

 

I've also seen where someone has already hit the truck, yet it still pops up on the map as if it's a new truck, and no cash will drop even though the doors are shut.

 

Lastly, I've seen the cash not pop up for a couple seconds, particularly if the truck is moving pretty fast. And you have to go back and find it.

 

Also, every time I've died, the cash disappears.

 

Other than that it's 100% for me.

 

If 20% of the trucks you hit aren't dropping, I'm inclined to think there's something you're doing wrong. No disrespect, that's just a really big disparity.

 

The shotty method has never been consistent for me. I've blasted the back doors dead center with a full clip and nothing. That was months ago. I've been going with stickies ever since.

Armor trucks are good to make a quick buck. It's easy to loose the wanted level and you can just kill yourself if you want and loose 50$ from medical bills to loose it after you get the money,

Ah yea thats right it's my fault that the Armored Trucks doesnt drop the cash, even though i'm doing it right because i still get the RP.

I usually use a suppressed micro SMG or AP pistol on the doors while it's sitting at a stoplight. Get right up to the doors and shoot the center between the handles. After a short burst the doors will open and the cash will drop out right at your feet..

 

I never get a wanted level. Worse that happens is the guard will get out and attack but you can just ignore him and get away.
