Miss Malevolent

After spending, 2.2 million I'm back up to $670,000.

But I don't like being below $2 million, so I will be playing to get that back up.

You can do the coveted 16x play list in just under 40min and that's $288,000.00

Mind you it does get repetitive, but if you do it with friends it's not as bad.

rooftop rumble 2x every ten minutes = 37k

37 x 6= 222k an hour

222k x 5 hours = 1,110,000$

so realistically if your motivated to grind til your eyes bleed you could realistically make 1m+ in a 5-6 hour session

I get overtime at work, so I sit at my desk for an extra hour and get 3x shark cards for 1.25 mil each (yes I have a good job)

Now, I am yet to do this, but it makes a hell of a lot more sense than 15 hours of RR

Im not supporting the idea, i think its boring too... just giving a realistic math breakdown of what it takes to earn 1m in the game

Remember everyone is different...I find battling squeakers in FM boring.

one of my personal enjoyments of the game is a few rounds of golf every night. and that gets you zero cash, so to each their own

Wow. I can spend 3x what you guys make in a week over the course of an hour of gameplay.

We're all aware that grinding money is easy, but it isn't really fun is it?

I already have a job that I grind at all day, I don't need to grind when I come home too.

I'm much happier glitching in free cars and getting to hang out and have fun with my crew, only having to spend money on ammo and clothing etc.

I think his point was that he doesn't grind for money. I don't either. I never have any problem with money. I hung out all night last night just looking at new stuff. I bought what I wanted with no worries. I race with randoms and crew playlists, I do the occasional mission, play sports. I wont see the same race or mission more than once in several days. Playing the full game means you dont need to grind. People who need to grind are in that position because they only play specific portions of the content.

Here's a lil' math for you all on how I keep my cash flow going.

5 rounds of Coveted on Hard = $90,000

5 rounds of RR on Hard = $93,750

$90,000 + $93,750 = $183,750

That's what I make generally in one session of play before I go dickin' around in freemode. Not counting random deathmatches I may jump into or the occasional pub contact mission. Now multiply that by 7 days in a week...

$183,750 x 7 = $1,286,250

So for playing Coveted and RR 5 times a day each on hard...you make just a shade under what it costs for the $20 Sharkcard. Hell, if you're high enough level, you can just do RR 10 times. (Takes me 4 minutes to complete it solo) and make a lil' more in a week. And before anyone asks, I do work AND play other games aside from GTAO, and I still manage to keep my cash flow in the $700K-$1mil range. Last time I recall ever being "broke" was when before level 20...and I'm 122 now.

So for anyone who says making money in GTAO is hard, you're doin' it wrong.

I play primarily with a friend of mine, all we do is make money. Stores, missions, races, armored trucks, the occasional parachute jump, it don't matter as long as it pays. I started yesterday's session with 89k, a couple hours later I'd bought the Turismo and most of it's upgrades, and both new guns with all their attachments (except the suppresor on the rifle, who needs that). So yeah, making money is not a problem or a grind on my end.

It really isn't. At this point, clearing RR and Coveted for me isn't a chore, it's second nature. I know how every enemy will react, where they'll run and take cover, and how to kill them before they do. Hell, I actually challenge myself to clear the missions as fast as possible. Cleared Coveted in under 2 minutes a couple times, and RR in under 3 not counting the drive to Madrazo's. PLUS I know shortcut to Madrazo's that shaves a good 20 seconds off of clearance time.

I make around 200k a day. I think I suck at money making.

sh*t, and I want the new airplane so bad.

FYI outside of grinding missions it looks like races are either glitched or that there is some adjustment that's not showing up correctly. At least last night land races were paying double whatever you earned in the race. So for the time being, money is easier.

Its a joke how easy it is to make money on this game. And you dont have to grind, you just have to do things other than free roam to make money. Grinding will get it faster of course. but do a playlist of things you really like and throw a coveted and do a rr before you start your playlist. you will make alot of money and have fun. someone few people focus on having between glitching and grinding lol

I agree you can make money with farming, but IMO that's boring. When you try to make money by just having fun, it's close to impossible.

The point though is theres a bunch of ways to make decent money, no need to farm any one thing. Mind you, dicking around in free roam isnt one of those ways, so it does depend on what you mean by fun....

It really isn't that hard you're right. People are just lazy. If they really want to they could glitch money. But they're to lazy to do that even or they're to afraid they won't be able to sleep at night cause they don't play legit.

1.8 million from $670,000...

And no it wasn't farming.

I can do 400k in two hours of mainly Rooftop with a few others to stop it getting too repetitive.

So I reckon 3mil in a week would be possible without dying of boredom

SaturdayNight

Im glad I grinded early in my play career. Even after buying all the DLC I still had over a million. But for me I tend to sell my cars frequently. As of now I only have a 6 car garage apt. I like it though because 10 became too much for me.

Once I drop into the six figures I go on a money run, then I am to make 100k every time I play or more. Selling cars, surviving bounties and armored trucks help sweeten the pot.

Starting from scratch, I made a million in less than 22 hours of gameplay. Probably about three days IRL, with varying playtime.

You should definetly be racing this weekend though, since (despite what R* stated) all races seem to be giving double GTA$ payouts.
