In nearly every thread there's always one person talking about how Rockstar is trying to force them to buy cash cards blah blah blah. So how much money CAN you make in a week? Well, apparently the answer is a lot. I like racing, it's about all I do when I'm not messing about. Last week when I heard the business update was coming I was a bit distraught cause I only had like 90,000$ in my bank account.

However in a week I managed to make roughly a million dollars. In a single day, I made over 390,000$ (yesterday) and I worked 8 hours that day irl.

To those that complain about making cash... please... cry me a river.

I agree that you can farm money fairly easily in the game, it is a grind, and becomes boring unless you fall into a group that goes on a tear completing high end missions all in a row. Ideally if you have friends that still play or an active crew, then yes you can farm fairly quickly.

I don't think I'll be playing Roadside Rumble or Coveted for a while now that I've bought what I wanted from the latest DLC....And the Turismo is so so sweet, and good on R* for making it only $500,000. I was prepared to pay more.

Agreed...I made 2 mil in 2 days this past weekend.

I make enough cash between races and 'random' jobs that money is not a factor. And has not been for me since early October...

I spend all my cash on paint jobs.. Seriously.. Nearly $500 000 yesterday on paint...lol

It's really not hard, I'm now going all out, if multiple properties are due in the next update, I need my pockets lined

Robbing Stores, Selling Felons, Occasional Bounties, Rooftop Rumble...my money stays flowing, every dollar counts in my book and trust me it adds up.

Yeah I never sat and farmed anything. I just played the game as I would normally play it and just had fun doing what I normally do.

I agree you can make money with farming, but IMO that's boring. When you try to make money by just having fun, it's close to impossible.

Depends what you consider fun, running round freeroam blowin up PV's will get you nowhere, but running back to back missions (any, but a select half dozen are big bucks) will get you good dolla

I avoided public rooms for the past 3 weeks and my bank account SKYROCKETED.

Yeah, but playing missions with randoms who'll just f*ck the mission up is annoying. I race a lot, and with that, it's close to impossible.

Grinding the SAME mission over and over is boring as hell but I can do RR 12 times in 1 hour. That's 225k. Coveted is right around the same(maybe slightly quicker but little less payout). It's not hard to make money, at all. The problem is people spend money like crazy and are lazy as hell.

That depends. If your definition of fun is strictly free roam, yeah you can't make a whole lot there. Still, you can sell cars to LSC, deliver simeon's car list, get the HPV, and hit armored cars. If you have no money, the liquor stores pay well but the price plummets once you got some bread. I usually start with Rooftop Rumble and just keep picking new co-op/solo missions on the vote screen. It's not "grinding" to me. That's just called playing the game...

I spend all my money yesterday (Was down to 20 bucks o.0) and played a few missions did one bounty and have 70g's from running around the lobby and 2-3 missions with friends. Its not hard even when having fun.

The Martin mission will all net close to 15000-18000 a piece when you play them on Hard. Win some DMs and races (or at least make top 3) and before you know it you've got some decent bank. I was sitting on a milli last week in prep for the DLC and before I knew it I had two.

Well just to be clear I raced public and private rooms. I haven't played any missions either and I wasn't farming for money, I was just doing what I'd normally do which is have fun racing.

All I could think about after I looked at the title was Jesse Pinkman talking about "fat stacks, mad cheddar yo!" And after looking at kracus's avatar, I think it was intentional

Soran Is On

I never go full retard and blast the whole session with a tank or Jet, but last night I went full retard with a Lazer. 6 supercar insurance later and I had spent 50K replacing others cars in about 45 seconds. Fun but damn not worth it.

I had just spent an hour before that cranking out 5 random missions that netted me 24K, 45 seconds and I spent twice that....

So if you go full retard all the time like I'm sure tons of people do, then YES money would be hard to acquire.

rooftop rumble 2x every ten minutes = 37k

37 x 6= 222k an hour

222k x 5 hours = 1,110,000$

so realistically if your motivated to grind til your eyes bleed you could realistically make 1m+ in a 5-6 hour session

We're all aware that grinding money is easy, but it isn't really fun is it?

I already have a job that I grind at all day, I don't need to grind when I come home too.

I'm much happier glitching in free cars and getting to hang out and have fun with my crew, only having to spend money on ammo and clothing etc.

That's what I'm saying. I was just having fun, I wasn't grinding. It IS in fact easy to make cash.

I get overtime at work, so I sit at my desk for an extra hour and get 3x shark cards for 1.25 mil each (yes I have a good job)

Now, I am yet to do this, but it makes a hell of a lot more sense than 15 hours of RR

Indeed. I don't understand it when players moan that they're broke. It's not that damn hard to make money.
