How to store high end cars SOLO

Thanks op. Just bought my fully modded turismo over from sp. Does this trick work with emergency vehicles? I really want the lifeguard car.

i'm trying it out, so far i managed to bring Park Ranger SUV over from SP (doesn't spawn for me online), but i f*cked up when trying to get it in. everything worked perfectly for the Space Docker that was banned the same day as emergency vehicles iirc, but it still didn't show in my garage (see post above somewhere).

Guys how can you glitch a car into your garage in an open lobby? Everytime I give it a try an idiot comes by and kill me or destroys the car... I hate those F*ckers

an event weekend is a terrible time to do this glitch. full lobbies everywhere, even in free aim.

This was working a treat last night for me. Managed to bring in a fully modded Turismo, Jester, & Adder. Probably took me 2 hours in total. Very hit and miss at the best of times, but so far today i've had no sucess whatsoever. Maybe they hot fixed it or something ?

Im sure it works in any garage that has an animation of the car driving out. Its just cause at weazel plaza you can do it solo cause cars wont despawn there, everywhere else you must have a friend watching the car otherwise it will disappear

I actually moved to weasel coz my alta street garage wasn't working. I managed to dupe a friends Jester today. Plus when I did it my Roosevelt was duped but it was uninsured and unsalable.

why do we have to use a rebel with "quick race > are you sure > x + r2" trick for being able to sell the replaced car? and is it a rusty or a clean rebel? and is it off the street or do we have to buy it online?

You can use any of your cars but if you want to sell or keep the glitched car it makes more sense to buy the rebel online because its cheap and insured.

I'd been trying to do this glitch for the last couple of days with zero luck and today I finally traded out my Alta apt for the Weasel apt and with some difficulty I was able to get it. I thought my problem was that I wasn't parking close enough to the garage. Like an idiot, I moved back to the Alta st. apt and I haven't been able to do it again.

I guess I'll be moving back into the Weasel Towers.

i guess its due to how the glitch works. by buying the car online, you get full insurance plus the car is re-sellable. these properties for your stored vehicle must remain intact, however by using this glitch you overwrite the cars individual properties, making the high ends storable. the tracker/insurance data must transfer over, must be a separate entity in the vehicle property listing, attached to your garage or slot or account rather than the car itself.

 

you dont HAVE to use a re-sellable car, can use one of the free ones, however this removes the selling option. however...

 

if anyone has some time, think you could test something for me? i cant until Tuesday but im curious as to if it would work. its based around the "sell free cars" method. im sure most know how but those that dont, quick run down is if you own a free car, lets say Elegy, then make sure you have a full garage. Drive your free car (elegy) out of garage, get out walk over to another random trackable car and drive it in. press OK to replace a car and choose the free car you just drove out a minute ago. then WALK out of your garage and get in the still spawned free car, take it to LSC and the "Sell" option will be available.

 

so taking this into consideration, i wonder if you can do the "Store High End cars" glitch detailed here but use a free car instead, then if you choose to sell it, use the exact above method but with the high end car you want to sell instead.

 

if no one can be bothered, i will be trying this out first thing when i get home. it might mean saving few thousand every time, not that i suppose it matters if you're making $120k+ off cars like Franklin's Buffalo but still

 

edit: if it does work let us know, will be happy to write up a text tutorial to add to this method

Or have a friend invite you to an invite only session, that's how we do it and it saves having to be in a lobby full of randoms when you're trying to store the car.

Another tip, save your SP game after parking your car where you'll retrieve it in MP, I've been knocking the door off before saving as well. This makes it easier if the car despawns. It seems kinda obvious now but I was having to switch to the character with the desired car, then go to impound and retrieve the car and then drive to the Weasel...pain in the ass.

- you should come back to the session in your garage turn around 180 degrees and run to the super car ASAP
- get in the super car and you will be shown driving out of your garage in it if done successfully

 

At the "you should come back to the session..." part, when I turn to run out of my garage, I can see my high end car outside where I left it, but as I run out, my character sort of stutters a few times, getting placed further into the garage again; I can't get the animation of the car driving out. This is the same thing that happens to me. I gave up,did it for like 2 hours. I can't even dupe a damn car,as soon as I try. Nothing works.

I have the 400k apartment, and I've gotten it to work with a Jester at this location, but maybe I'll try the Weasel apartments if there isn't a clear solution.

Move to weasel, WEASEL PLAZA (any apartment there) - don't run too close to the garage wall when running to the car or you'll get kicked back further into the garage, if when you get in the car you aren't shown the animation of you driving it out of your garage you weren't quick enough, move car a bit closer/rip drivers door off. Run like the wind. Hope this helps you.

I can confirm that this works on Richards Majestic too. Took me three tries to get it working.

At first try i was too slow, because I got confused when spawning inside the garage.

2nd try failed, because car had despawned, when I went from offline-->Online

 

Ramp on Majestic's garage is pretty narrow, but i got turismo fitted sideways (idk if car needs to be sideways, or is it just fastest way to get inside)

When i went online and out of the garage, my account spawned at top of the ramp. Just walked down to turismo and went in & out and then to garage. Did the quick race etc and when I spawned at my garage, just quickly went to car and saw driving out cutscene.

 

Tl;dr : Works at Richards Majestic too, just do everything that guide says.

Trigga wait about 10 seconds after the race mission screen with players appears or 1 second after the option to quit appears down at the bottom right before trying to back out

 

Trying to back out before the option to quit shows doesn't help in my opinion it's best waiting until you see the quit option displayed for about 1 second, makes for a smoother more consistently successful exit to the glitchy garage tunnel in my experience. Expect to see the quit option appear about 10 seconds after you see the quick race loading screen with other players.

After trying multiple garages I can assure you that the Weasel apt garage is the easiest way to replicate this glitch. If you don't get it after backing out of a mission on the first attempt, it seems spawn you at the job location until you re-glitch the vehicle from SP to MP again, even if the vehicle hasn't despawned. If that isn't your issue make sure your 'spawn location' didn't get switched from 'garage' to 'last location', mine has switched randomly a couple of times.

 

This is the most frustrating glitch! For me, knocking the car door off, leaving the engine running and using the Weasel garage have made a huge difference in my success rate.

After practicing this a few times I now get it about 80% of the time. You can turn around and start running before you even see your self in the garage!
