My opinion and the release date can change anytime by rockstar.

Bigger update= every 3 months (Christmas 12/2013, business 03/2014)

Newer update = mid-late June with possible heist (probably will change to 2.01)

Next new car=around Easter

Next new weapon = around Easter

Heist = late June with couple of heists

New place to explore(e.g north Yankton ) = end of 2014/start of 2015

 

These are my predictions and based on marketing techniques.
