I would love to see the hidden fast players in the game, i normaly dont race supers very often, more sports and muscle that provides a challenge, i drive a 9f some of you know that. But we had this TT challenge in supers so it would be great to see wich people can get close and beat the times. I have had two times that i was going to get a lap in the 53sec (high 53 sec) but i screwed up last corner and also on the other time i hit the posts on the straight before the finish

 

But you really need the perfect lap for it. Also i turn the lap in to sectors at certain checkpoints i wacht the time so i know where to improve and if im on a good lap (record braking lap). In that way it is easier to keep track on your progression on the tracks.

sure thing, is that custom dominator best laps time ?? any conditions i.e must be done in less than 5 laps? specific weather, time of day etc?? i know weather might sound a daft one butthat back downhill section with the sun in your eyes on a morning run can indeed make a difference

i do what i can, like they say you can please some people some of the time but you cant please all people all of the time...

 

i never intended this to be a really serious thread, but theres no reason we can have both serious and not so serious times up in the OP...

 

 

now all you guys need to do is start telling all those guys who bug you on the forum with their "im better than everyone else at racing" statements to head over here and show they've got what it takes...

 

oh and don't forget to take other people up on their challenges as well, i can see Luap is ahead of the game on this one... if we end up with loads of people setting really specific challenges and no-one actually trying them the OP's gonna get full of crap.... so lead by example my good friends and test yourself on the current challenges..

 

for those of you taking the more serious option i expect you to post your times win or lose... after all if your taking it so seriously youll have the swingers to admit when someones challenge is just too hard for you to beat and rightly commend them on a job well done....id also like proofs from you of your times, pics preferably...... if you wanted it to be so serious, id like you to play by your own rules,

I normaly do sets of 7, 10, 15 laps depending on the track length and time. However this was a 20 laps session cause i had not done the track Time trail for quite some time, but i managed to beat it in lap 8.

I dont know how to post a picture on this site, im on ipad and see mothing more then the typing area.

 

But my time is there, raced in morning, clear, solo, in a normal race, no boost ect ect.

 

I would like to see the same pictures and not rockstar social club pictures cause that wont prove anything.

 

I have another record on learning curve in coupes if anyone is interested i shall post it also but lets wait for people to respond first.

Cutting coroners time trial in set up Elegy only managed 0.57.8xx never mind breaking barrier of 54. WTF?

I had no idea that my time would makes such a fuzz. But I have to admit that the time IS WITH slipstream. As you will see on my total time I messed up on my first lap but everything just went perfect lap two. But there is no pickup, NOS or something involved and the amount of time I used catchup and the slipstream isn't that much since the other guy didn't even finish, lol.. But I don't know this guy and the race was never intended to be a hunt for the best lap time.

If I were to be alone maybe the time would've been 53.XX.

 

 

Anyway, I'll try and do a REAL lap time because I understand why some feel like this isn't legit.

No hard feelings, now I know where you guys have put the bar. :-)

Entity is a bit too high class for me atm, unfortunately.

 

Racing Elegy is all I can just about manage in races, step up into super and its havoc.

No fuzz at all mate. It just happens we raced the place for a week and we know what´s possible and what´s not. I knew that to set this time you need to use some help, and I asked what you could get in a different environment, and that´s it. No drama at all.

@Nivak...no idea man I must have run that track at least 300 times with and without opponents with all car classes since release. I probably have insane times on every class but there is really no way to see. I can tell you though that I cant hold a candle to a Bati and its wheelies. You should easily overtake it.

Yeah it's too bad they don't record more detailed info about races (how many racers, settings, etc), because stripstreaming really impacts the times. A solo time trial mode with separate leader board would be cool, IMO.

I really wish I could post this track I race on all the time that I love. It's a custom course though a friend of mine made. We've been keeping track of our times on it because it's such a good technical course, I'd love to see how some of you guys handle it.

It's a wicked little course. We only race it in sports class and my best laptime on it is a 1:21.8 set with an Elegy. The best I've ever done on this same course with a Coquette was a 1.27 which ultimately led me to buy an Elegy as my sports car of choice for racing.

Yeah I'm anxious to hear how you make out on it. Amongst my friends I'm pretty much the fastest one on that particular map, i'd love to see someone do it faster if for no other reason than to get some tips on what I can do different to beat them even more lol.

I like the idea of the topic. And i also like to find that good racers, cause i see not many of them. So i hope people will turn up and show what they got.

 

I understand the fun part mo-seph but it proves nothing in the way that someone is better then you, if they use nos, turbo boost ect ect.

 

Like on our forum we have every week 2 or 3 Time trial challenges, run in a solo race, strickt restriction, no nos, no turbo boost, just you the track and the car. Legit times without cheating, slipstreaming, taking long runs, nos ect ect.

 

Here are our best times in the week we did it, Fasterthenyou (dyr_gl) on the forum had the record of 54.211 and we keep the trials open for anyone in our crew to beat it. Now i have the record in our crew of 54.122

 

Here is the topic with our fastest times driven in the Cutting coroners. Also with picture proof of every time set.

And i truly want to see faster people but not faster with nos turbos ect ect cause in my eyes it proves nothing, your just someone who raced with all the help and assist they can find in the game.

 

So i would like to challenge people on this track.

 

Show your racing skills,

 

Race in supers.

 

No nos

No turbos

No slipstream

No catchup

Race alone in a solo session

No long run to hit start at top speed

 

And post a picture of the proof here. Show your legit fast and know how to drive. Only boys race with assist but in a race without the assist they wont be even close.

 

So try to beat it, if you know you can. And its damn hard to set such times.

fastest is did solo on coroners was 59 n change in my topped out turismo.......holy sh*t, definitely gonna push myself to beat that though. will also be taking up that z-type challenge when im on!

@faster - not sure what Help senilsson got f2from a guy who clocks a 1:24 and dnf's, but I also know snillson isnt one to shy away from a fun challenge

 

@nirvak - will do when Im on a computer tomorrow, you want it up in the No holds barred section? Ive a pretty good track record for offroading so ill give grass rt a shot and see if I can best you

 

@braziliangirl - so drop in your time and shows these boys whos really wearin the pants... But ill warn you your not the only one w a WR, both my characters are sporting the racing blonde tattoo

@Matt I was the same when our crew did a similar challenge to the apex guys, took me a whileto break 1:00 in my ebtity but as you se. From my race w senilsson I now average sub 59 Times, usually besting around 57 .... Ill b givin the ztype one shot too, not that its my preferred sports classic but im in it for the fun not the glory

You guys defo set a good standard ill give you that, nice to see good input from both sides of the console divide and a good variety of tracks, if any of you go head to head as a "best man wins" dont forget to vote on the apprpve racers thread and if your Rollin on custom tracks the approved custom cobtebt threads lets keep this lil racing group alive an kickin, regardless of crew affiliations theres a sh*tton of good racers on the gtaf and if we keep this up we will all be riding the top of those leaderboards
