why are people such incompetent retards when it comes to rooftop rumble? i'm not talking about them shooting as soon as they spawn or blowing up the documents (although this pisses me off too) i'm talking about the person who picks up the documents and insists on taking their motorbike or sh*tty car instead of hopping in the helicopter that everyone else is in. this is why i hate hosting for randoms. has anyone else had a similar problem?

Nah, its seperate. When I tried it, it took about 1/5th off my time and 1/18th off my money earnt so statistically, it works out more $ per second/minute if you are farming it.

 

I've only done it a few times because the pilot has the navigation skills of a pebble and always gets 'stuck' in the air. Its also quite risky because in the time it takes to shoot the pilot, pull him out and take off, the god damn Granger with enemies is on you and when i've done it, I either die or get away with 10-20% health left.

 

 

I'll stick with escaping on the ground. Take out the 3 SUV's that come after you and you're golden.

I don't even do that, I just drive as fast as possible lol. Its nice to shake things up a bit though with the risky chopper attempt. I always love seeing noobs crash and burn due to them taking off and flying straight into the bridge/power lines/car park.

I have a 80% of joining RR when I chose random contact mission.

 

I then have a 30% of NOT getting kicked.

 

When I play it I just get my turismo/premier ready at the entrance and lob a grenade at the green gauntlet for a easy quad kill. Then run straight in and grab the files myself while my teammates try ramming me and running me over to make me get in their fugly chrome dollar rimmed turismos instead of me using my own black one :S

There is always one guy who calls helicopter while others take out professionals, so at time documents drop helicopter is ready to go

I had one earlier where I was the host. By the time I'd got round the back of the car park he was spamming grenades into the place. Really annoys me when you get players who don't wait for everyone to get into place before starting. Luckily I picked up the briefcase so I went for a nice long drive.

Never seemed to have a problem getting to Martin's house in my Buffalo. Helicopters are for folk who wanna get it done quick. That's fine, but, what's the rush? I'm not in any hurry.

I dont find the chopper because half the time the merrweather pilot is too dumb to be able to land the thing and takes five minutes to find a suitable spot. I dont bother taking out the grangers full of reinforcements just speed there. Even the fugitives in the parking garage used by the porfessionals are quick enough that you dont need to worry about the dudes in the grangers that try and catch you.

Except for those jerks who spawn on the twisting roads up in the Vinewood Hills and slam into you head-on before riddling you with SMG fire. It's the only way I've ever died doing RR (not including motorcycle accidents).

I run the mission and sit back and smoke a bowl while the kiddies handle it.(Repeat) So many people jump at this mission cause they arnt high enough level to run it themselves, so I figure Im doing my service by running it for them so they can level/earn fast, and they do the work for me. Fair right?

 

Now if they are really having a tough time dad jumps in and saves the day. (Cant believe it happens) The guy drives away and they cant catch him xD

The other day I just kept running RR over and over, this one dude kept joining every one of them (solid hour) I helped a couple times butfor the most part it was all them.

I tend to have the most trouble at the t intersection going up a steep hill. I normally end up getting airborne on that intersection hoping not to land on a car

What get's me about this mission is also the people that just spawn in and start shooting while walking across the road.

Solo I can get the documents faster than the Merryweather helicopter can land, then get on the Bati (arguably one of the fastest vehicles in online).

 

I could only imagine the possibility of doing it in a full lobby of people that know what to do.
