When I drive by Mors Mutual, and I see a chrome car, I will instantly throw explosives at it.

If it is not chrome, I will drive on.

Has nothing to do with being aggressive, or with your playstyle, or anything.. It is simply the right thing to do.

Look, full Chrome bodies on vehicles have simply become the universal symbol of GTA douchebaggery, and is synonymous to exploiters, cheaters, glitchers, hackers and those who generally try to show their asses online and on forums. It's the same as how the Salute has become the universal gesture for respect or meaning no danger to others.

 

Now, it might be something you find appealing personally, but it's a situation of "guilt by association" here. You might like it, others might like it, but most people don't, and that's just something you've gotta deal with everytime you pull out of your garage in a full chrome anything.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. At first I just liked chrome because it was an unlock and looked pretty nice to me, but now I'm seeing a giant bandwagon of hate for a simple color. I think it goes much deeper than just about the way it looks.

While they believe they are fighting some kind of chrome crusade, I have fought hypocrisy for years.

 

I hate hypocrites. They make judgements about others without looking at themselves. They are too shallow to look into the chrome and see their reflection.

 

Chrome symbolizes my freedom to fight your stupid trendy hatred of a simple color. F*ck off haters, and grow up. I've always hated HS popularity drama, because the sheeple are always hypocrites.

Well...I've yet to experience seeing anyone with a Chradder outside of a car meet not be out to simply grief others, so it's a safe assumption to say that Churismos will be out to do the same thing. At this point it's twitch response for most people...see it, shoot it.

 

Personally it's an eyesore for me. Chrome's meant to be an accent, not a focus...any actual car lover will tell you this, especially those like me who like classic, vintage cars. It all comes down to preference. Of course in GTAO, people can express their preference, like most other things, through wanton violence. Such is life.

One experience isn't a generality.

 

In my experience, I don't see Chrome cars often, if at all, and yet, griefers abound in glorious numbers. I've played with about 5 players who have had Chrome cars, full and just secondary, and they were some of the nicest players I've ever played with. They didn't shoot on sight, and we'd go after players who are griefing others.

 

Just yesterday, there was an improntu "car meet" in one session. About 6 or 7 of us were just chilling between some buildings, playing around with the new actions, running around in circles and smashing each other up with melee weapons. Two guys had Chrome cars, but no one gave a crap because we're not immature children. But then, someone else who had been killing other players for a while got a tank and tried to attack all of us. We teamed up and ganked him, repeatedly.
