Yep, classic Ferrari Yellow

The fack??? Ferrari Classic was and still is RED! Lambo is yellow......some kids...

....and yes mine is BRIGHT RED.

Edit: I believe the Turismo is a Ferrari and McLaren(With a touch of Lambo, see the front bumber in front of the wheels to the side. The headlights are from a GTA something wierd). A McFerrari if you will.

You may know a bit about Ferraris , but you're no expert bro.

The original Ferrari race cars were yellow in honour of an Italian flying ace who's plane was yellow. This was also the origin of the prancing horse logo.

Red may be more common, but yellow always was and always will be a classic Ferrari colour.

I don't, because it has more similarities to the P1 than the LaFerrari in most areas (the rear though is more Laferrari than P1 for sure).

The only thing that really balances out the equation is the manufacturer: Grotti. When it came to the badging, just saves time to lump it in with the other sports car of an established in game brand rather than make a new one.

My buddy who is the biggest Ferrari enthusiast I know (I mean, HUGE.....knows more about Ferrari than most people know about what they had for breakfast) refuses to buy this car because even he says it looks more like a McLaren than a Ferrari.

The color is a custom crew color, #D40000 or 212,0,0, which is the known RGB value of Rosso Corsa, an actual Ferrari color. The reds in LSC are close, but this is authentic.

The wheels, from the Sport group but I forget which type, bear a close resemblance to the Ferrari wheels used on the LaFerrari (and other Ferrari models). The actual LaFerrari would usually have alloy-colored wheels, but the Alloy wheel color in LSC doesn't do justice to the real color. Gold-colored wheels of this style are optional on some other Ferrari models, and possibly on the LaFerrari as well, so I took some artistic license and colored my wheels gold.

The license plate says "F150", which was Ferrari's project name for the LaFerrari during development.

The F12 Berlinetta default colour was yellow. Believe me, I know Ferrari

ferrari-reveals-f12-berlinetta-pricing-d

Can't agree with you there. Yellow is not a launch colour for Ferrari.

1 color does not make the default color of most produced ferraris the common color. Regardless of what the common color of ferraris were first initially and what they will be in the future, as of now, red is the most common color ferraris come in, and have been for a long while now. Nearly all car manufacturers/brands have their own color that can be associated with them:

Main:

Ferraris = red (sometimes yellow)

Lambos = yellow and/or orange (sometimes green)

TVRs = purple (sometimes green)

Fords = blue

alfa romeo = red (sometimes yellow)

aston martins = silver (sometimes green)

jaguars = green (sometimes silver)

Chrysler = silver (sometimes black)

lincoln = light based colors such as white, cream, etc...

Peugeot = blue (sometimes white)

And the list goes on....

The primary/default/most common colors listed are the first colors represented for each cars in the list. The bracketed/paranthesized colors are the uncommon colors.

Im sorry, but the most common color ferraris come in, nowadays, is red. Ferraris are associated with red.

In the Ferrari factory tour, the Ferrari-employed tour guide will tell you that the official color of Ferrari is...the answer to this will be posted below, but first: a bit of car color history.

Ferrari is associated with red for a reason. Back in the early days of racing, before corporate sponsorships, race organizers decided to assign a color to each country. England got dark green, Germany got silver, France got blue, and Italy got red. In the beginning, there were only a handful of countries participating in these races that got colors, but over time, more were added.

Ferrari came long after those early days, but by then, red was established as the "official" color of Italian racing. In Italian, the color was called Rosso Corsa, which translates to "racing red". The exact shade of this color is the one I specified in my earlier post above. Ferrari did not initially use this exact shade; they used a slightly darker shade, but the difference was so slight that it would be hard to notice.

In tribute to his home country, every racing car made by Ferrari was painted in Rosso Corsa.

Over the years, Ferrari has used many different shades of red. They did eventually use, and still use to this day, the official Rosso Corsa shade of red. They also use another color, called Ferrari Red, which is not actually the shade of red that most people would think of when they think of a red Ferrari. Ferrari Red is brighter and has a very slight orange tinge to it. The amount of orange has actually increased over the years.

Ferrari was founded in the city of Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari. The flag of Modena has two colors on it, yellow and blue.

Ferrari has since moved to Maranello, but a bit of Ferrari's history is still included on every Ferrari sold: the yellow in the Ferrari emblem comes from the flag of Modena.

So if you go to the Ferrari factory, and ask the tour guide, an employee of Ferrari trained to represent the company, what the official color of Ferrari is, the answer will be..."GIALLO".

This is Italian for YELLOW.

So on the one hand, yellow is the official color of Ferrari. On the other hand, more Ferraris have been painted in some shade of red than any other color, and it's what most people tend to picture if you mention the name Ferrari.

Ahh the Turismo R, probably one of the most underrated cars in the game over-shun by the Zentorno, which honestly IMO looks like someone had a seizure designing it. I do have a Green and Black Turismo R, but no pics ATM

McFerarri and McLambo's.

and purist Ferrari's are always Red. the F12 was never a default anything. If you knew Ferrari's, you would be hard pressed to find any one in yellow, black, or sliver that was not specifically requested to be that color (by non purist btw)

Purists lol

Most Ferrari's are red because that's the racing color for Italy. But yellow represents the city of Modena.

Ferrari dont force any color upon the customers. Since the customers pay that much money for a car, Ferrari allows them to chose which color they want on their Ferrari. The customer just chose whatever color they like. I've seen red, yellow, white, black and blue. It all depends on what the buyer wants.

It is not a McLaren.

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to understand: GTA cars are not real, and no one GTA car is not based on any one single real-life car.

Every GTA car draws inspiration from at least two IRL cars. Furthermore, every manufacturer in GTA is meant to be a parody of at least one IRL manufacturer.

It is a well-known, and as far as I know undisputed, fact that Grotti is meant to parody Ferrari.

The Turismo R is a Grotti.

Ergo, the Turismo R is based primarily on a Ferrari. PRIMARILY. Yes, there are bits and pieces that are clearly from other cars, not all of which are from Ferrari.

The resemblance to a LaFerrari is pretty clear. The resemblance to parts of other cars is also clear. But to call this GTA car a McLaren is idiotic. It's not a McLaren...it's a Grotti.

Anyway, if you want to base yours on McLaren, that's your choice and you're welcome to it. But don't tell me I'm wrong when your basis for saying so is the wrong claim that this Grotti is a McLaren.

"...and yes, I know cars." Im going to spell this one out, because a simple abbreviation doesn't do this comment justice: Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off.

I've been reading car magazines every month since 1985, but I'm supposed to just take the word of some random text on an Internet forum that says "I know cars" and change my opinion based on that? Again, I say ROFLMAO (you weren't worth writing it out for a second time).

I've seen the LaFerrari. I've seen the P1. I see more similarities with the LaFerrari than with the P1, including the overall basic body. Plus the fact that it's a Grotti, which is a parody of Ferrari.

All in all, I think this description of the Turismo's styling at GTA.wikia.com sums it up quite nicely:

The Turismo R is made up of many sharp curves and edges, giving it an aggressive appearance. This design is heavily inspired by LaFerrari featuring its front bumper and greenhouse area as well as being a hybrid electric supercar. The front lip of the car is inspired by the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (or the Aventador) and it lightly has a resemblence to the Arash AF8 with headlights that are derived from the GTA Spano. The rear area is somewhat based on the LaFerrari (with a similar glass engine cover formation), although the two taillights are similar to those on the McLaren F1 and shares a slight resemblance to the Faralli & Mazzanti Evantra. The rear also bears some references to the Marussia B2, McLaren P1 and Corvette C7 accents. All in all, the Turismo R is heavily based on LaFerrari with some elements of the McLaren P1 and other cars. Because of its extremely streamlined and low down body, cars may drive up the hood as if it was a ramp on head on collisions.

But you go on and see what you want to see, meanwhile I'll just keep seeing what is. Edited by JRebbert512

Did I ask you to change your opinion? No, I stated mine. And I don't really care how long you've been reading car magazines every month, because all this comes down to is these 2 cars and how you see it. The fact that you are 'Rolling on the floor laughing your ass off' about someone opinion either means you are way to full of yourself to accept what anyone says if it doesn't agree with you, or you're just very immature. Either way, please, think about how silly your posts are before you post them. Your 'I win because I've read more magazines and your opinion doesn't matter' attitude doesn't look all that good.
