Who else make their Turismo R looks like Ferrari?

Can someone give me a simplified description of what a:

 

Sports car is...

 

Super car is...

 

Hyper car is...

 

I would do it myself but I'd only use google and I'm sure some of you actually know what you're talking about.

 

I'm not really a car guy I just like looking at them and driving them, I don't really follow new releases or anything

Wasn't the turismo on GTA IV based on a Ferrari? So wouldn't common sense lead us to the conclusion that the turismo is based more on the laferrari?

It is, however it also has some resemblance to the Mclaren p1. Just as much as the Infernus 'Lambo' resambles a Zonda with its rear exhausts/tail lights.

And those 2 cars IRL also share a lot of the same shape.

 

The Hennessey venom eats both of them including Bugatti's Veyron.

Koenigsegg One;1 eats them all.

 

Actually the Venom is the fastests car in the world, at least in a straight line. Unlike the Bugatti it doesn't require a massive straight to get to it's top speed, in fact it got to a top speed of 270MPH on a 3 mile straight from a standing start. It's not technically a production car though, so it doesn't qualify for the world record. Also because it's so light it's probably better than a Veyron round a track.

Hennessey venom GT eats even the Koenigsegg One i think 'no proof in a 1on1' but the stats of the cars say enough.

The Koenigsegg one is a sick car i must say. The Hennessey sounds a sh*tload better to.

It is true that a lot of cars are a combination of two cars. I kind of wish that R* made it so that the new turismo was based on the three new 'hypercars'. Something like the front of the P1, the rear end of the LaFarrari, and the top of the Porche 918 (as in the convertible roof and the engine and exhaust just behind the headrests)

That car looks damn fine though, I like the open top a lot so yeah i agree on that. I mean they added a carbon roof, a painted roof... why not an open roof?

 

Also, what i loved about the Cheetah where those big fat rear *stock* tires. Would have loved those on the Turismo.

TBH there is no real difference, it's generally just measured in how extreme they are. Technically they are all just 'sports cars'.

There is no actual definition for a supercar, or hypercar. They are buzzwords used by people in the industry to make their cars seem premium and better than other cars.

The worst part is that the name makes it seem like this is the defining Ferrari, and that you can't a car more 'Ferrari' than this, making every other car they produce seem less important. Not exactly the smartest move haha.

The term "super car" may have been coined by some clever marketing bod way back in the day, but the term has now become normal parlance for a certain group of cars.

Like I said it's difficult to define with some cars being undeniably supercars (all modern Lamborghinis for example) and some cars having what would appear to be all the right qualifications but not quite making the grade like say an Audi R8

The actual definition of a super car is 'a high performance sports car'. In my eyes they are basically just high end sports cars with a distinct premium feel about them.

It's definitely more of a LaFerrari than a P1, I mean just look at the cabin. It's nearly identical. Plus it is a Grotti.

 

The old Turismo from SA was an F40, and the one from IV was a 360. So it is clear Rockstar stuck with Ferrari this time around too.

At least you put the emblem on the correct car. Someone yesterday had the Ferarri emblem on an Entity and I about lost my s***. Couldnt believe no one seemed to notice it but me.

My entity has a BF logo on it. I'll see if I can find a pic...

Edit: nope. It winds up on most of my cars, so I'll get a photo when I put it on my turismo. Once I sell the entity to make room...

the definitions are mixed. Try Wikipedia, or the manufacturers website to see what category the vehicles they make are placed in. Most would be considered Super Cars, and older models to be Sports Cars. I guess hyper car is just the new one? maybe electric?

 

it's the same way they are calling literally everything HD now...

 

to OP:

If you are going to compare ot a Ferrari then at least post which ones it looks similar to (not including the old Ferrari rims you put on it yourself, or the Ferrari logo lol)

 

if anything, I would say it looks the most like the Mclaren P1:

 

 

but has a lot of Ferrari's Laferrari features:

 

 

It looks like they took the McLaren front bumper, and overall body style, then threw it on top of the Ferrari hood and rear end. I personally love both cars IRL, so this is my favorite of the new ones in GTA.

The fack??? Ferrari Classic was and still is RED! Lambo is yellow......some kids...

....and yes mine is BRIGHT RED.

Edit: I believe the Turismo is a Ferrari and McLaren(With a touch of Lambo, see the front bumber in front of the wheels to the side. The headlights are from a GTA something wierd). A McFerrari if you will.

I also wouldn't base the first color of that car you see as the main flagship color. This has always been the case. Yellow=Lambo Red= Ferrari It's like dirtbikes. Yamaha=Blue, Suzuki = Yellow, KTM = Orange. If you even know about those.

 

Edit: I would also like to point out that Red was so epic in the racing world, Mercedes tried and failed with it. There is one in a museum somewhere. Hence why they are now "Silver".

Grotti for a start is most definately the Ferrari make on GTA. The Turismo in GTA IV is a Ferrari 360, so why would they make a mclaren a Grotti and then a turismo at P1? Doesn't make any sense at all, the Tuismo is a LaFerrari:

Sports cars are generally front engine, rear wheel drive, are around 400-600hp. Corvettes, California, Viper (around 100kusd)

Super cars are basically the higher end of sports cars, Mid engine, 600-900hpish Gallardo, 458 etc. (Few hundred K to a mil)

Hypercars are basically street legal race cars and super extreme cars like the Veyron, Zonda, Enzo, Koenigseggs, McLarens(Over a million dollars)

 

These are just generals, there is no clear difference between super and hyper really. Hypers are the generally fastest of the fast and the most expensive, only reason the Veyron counts, cause lets face it...it isn't a race car.

 

Hypercar is a newer term and quite frankly was and isn't needed. It is pointless. Just my opinion though.
