So, I played some GTA V today on my old PS3. First time since I got my gaming rig wich is 2 months ago. And wow, how can you guys play on these consoles? I really wanted to fork out my eyeballs. I still have a headache from the noize my tv showed. It literaly looked like someone had smeared sh*t over my poor screen. And the emptiness of the world then? No cars or peds anywhere to be seen! Compared to how GTA IV(with icehancher and so on) looks like on my PC, IT WAS A FREAKIN GHOST TOWN!!!

Yeah, just had to vent it. I can't wait for the PC version. It's such a waste to play this game on hardware from 1798. Or wathever.

The game does indeed not look that visually impressive. It looks do very good at times (considering its on PS3) but at other times it looks worse, and that is mostly because the lack of Anti aliasing.

For the first time, I can't say ''gameplay over graphics'', because in my opinion there isn't much gameplay to it. From how car handles, to features such as ''Killflash'', the combat mechanics which is watered down since GTA IV, the feeling of being in a cardboard city with almost no buldings to enter, lack of safehouses, lack of clothing.. Singleplayer feels half-arsed.

The only thing I CAN'T stand is the atrocious frame rate. I mean my head and my eyes hurt after 15 seconds of gameplay. Its running with 10-15 frames per second in daylight downtown. I can't understand how people say its a good console game and can play it. To top it off its 720p, on a full hd 1 meter tv it looks horrible, in the distance there are 8 pixels which is an enemy or whatever. I simply can't wait for a pc version.

Just imagine, better graphics, AA, 1080p, better textures, 60 or higher FPS. Just imagine playing this game on a 144 hz monitor with 120 fps, its going to be en entirely different game!

I bought the PC version of GTA IV yesterday. Even with the latest patch, the conversion feels rushed. I can't imagine the state of GTA IV at the day-one release on PC.

Don't expect Rockstar to put to much money into a proper PC version. Console and online is where its at, Singleplayer and PC is secondary.

And even better! Just imagine a icehancher mod for this! :D Yeah it's sad... just started to play some Assassins Creed Brotherhood today on my PC. it looks ten times better than ACIII on PS3.

GTA IV was the first open world game on new engine and new hardware, that's why it worked bad on PC and consoles. That was almost 6 years ago.

And if GTA online is the most important thing then we can expect even better PC version. It won't stay on old consoles forever, about a year or two is left. Then they move, at least GTA Online to PC and next gen. Remember that Online is constantly growing, so that's why they can't keep it on old hardware forever.

The only bad visuals I can think of is the lack of trees and really bad textures on mountains.

True, plus rockstar will invest money in the pc version, after all they made like 2 billion or something in console sales... And let's not forget the almost perfect port Max Payne 3 got for the pc. Its only natural for rockstar to make the best pc port they can for GTA V and they will. You'll see, they will announce it at the end of 2014 for a spring release and we will get a perfect GTA V, I really believe so, its only a matter of time.

The fact that you think GTA V will be a port makes me smile.

GTA V is not being ported, it is being developed from scratch for PC and as far as I know Max Payne was not a port but I might be wrong about that one.

Or maybe because the game runs at a console that is over 7 years old.

Nope. Either of that. It's a crappy old console.

This whole PC thing is a myth. The game looks great and I bet you are playing on some horrid cheap little chinese screen while sitting on a cardboard box  while me on the other hand is playing V on my super sized only in your dreams TV on the luxurious 360.

Maybe GTA V will come to the PC like LA Noire and Max Payne 3. As well as every other major GTA game in the series since GTA 1.

Fixed.

Maybe GTA V will come to the PC like Red Dead Redemption.

Perhaps but they will never reach the status of those who already started.
