I added all of your guy's ideas and other ideas i had as i was posting it

 

What do you think?

 

Should i add or remove anything?

 

If we can get enough people to get behind us and back us up on these ideas then maybe R* will finally change the payout for Survival

It takes us 15-20 minutes and thousands of dollar worth of ammo to complete and we 3400RP & $20,000 which should be a lot higher but it takes 3:00 minutes to complete RR maybe $100-$500 worth of ammo you get 3,600 up too 5,600 (with Free Aim) & you get $18,750.

Don't get me wrong i love RR hell i even have a pinned thread dedicated to helping people find a RR session but why does it pay more/equal to Rooftop Rumble you would think because of all the effort you have to put into winning a survival you would be given a generous RP & Money for your time.

'm not asking for much but is 10,000RP and $40,000 too much to ask for?

('ve heard a lot of people say that if they added new maps (They added one new map) and increased the payout for RP & Cash they would do it a lot more.

We should be able to change the difficulty on the survival to Easy, Normal & Hard

Payout would be as such

Easy: 20K + 3K per round

 

Normal: 35K + 6K per round

Hard: 50K + 9K per round

If you finish the surivival on Easy you get 50K, on Normal you get 95K and on hard you get 140K

Which easy level the arsenal should be difference to make the payout worth the trouble.

On easy they'd use basic pistol to start, normal would have combat, hard AP. and the progression would be similar with the other categories.

Other people want unlimited rounds with a 5k payout where you go untill you die which is what survival matches are on all other games you go until everybody dead or instead of waves you get cash/rp per kill instead of 10rp per kill you'll get 500 cash/rp per kill.

You would get more money if you complete the survival solo or with one other person.

If we win we should receive the amount of money we spent on ammo during the survival but if you failed you don't get the money back.

 

R* messed with the payout so much in the last 11 updates

Spending at least 20 minutes and killing around 200 guys worth minimum 30K and cash around 5k...

They should just do extended round with 20 waves that pay 100k

OR unlimited round with each wave will + 15k into the payout.

Considering the amount of effort/time/skill/ammo required to do most of those - especially solo - each completed wave should pay at least $5K. AND, there should be added bonus for completing it with less people.

However is survival more FUN than rr any day. If I get a randon invite to rr now, I just stand doing the jerk. rr all the time is so boring!

Survival is a lot of fun but often times playing through I spend almost as much as I made if I choose to use explosives and RPG's for heli's.

 

Considering the length of time it can take to beat it, these should pay out more like $40,000.

well what about this idea:

I agree, when you compare the Payouts of Cash and RP for a completed Survival, to Roof Top Rumble, or Coveted on any difficulty settings, then take out Ammo expenses...Survival Loses

The cheapest i have ever got off in Ammo expense in a completed Survival was just under 2k and that was with 3 of us playing it and everyone was contributing....Running a Survival Solo My ammo cost will jump to around 4-5k or more so at best and in a group i am netting 18k or a little Less, Solo 15k or less..plus it takes 20 minutes or so to complete

 

In the same 20 minutes i can do Coveted 4 or 5 times on the hard setting playing solo, and have a total ammo expense of less than 1k for the 4 or 5 games ... 5 games times 18k per game = 90k minus the 1k in ammo =89k in my pocket

 

Survival should payout at lest 80k plus a set amount for ammo and cap the amount at around $350 - 500 per completed wave, ...

IMO survival unlocks early on, to learn players how to survive take cover ect...and not burn thru Ammo like there is an endless supply....before the purge of money i watched players who had them come out firing with the mini-gun on wave 1 .......fun maybe, overkill yes, Costly HELL YES......

 

I Like Survivals, but if i am needing to build cash for something i want to buy, I head to the Jobs list and start picking out Missions (i cant farm the same one over and over...so i pick 3 or 4 i like and hit them)

wave 10 should have hackers.

 

Survivals do need a change though. Once your past level 40 there's no point of playing them. Just play Coveted. The only reason to play them is for fun but its time consuming fun.

Survival is great practice for free aimers that have been away for a few days to a week.

 

First few waves you will be sloppy and the enemies are easy on you then as you get back into the groove the last waves feel easier than the first waves!

 

It's what I do to "get my eye in" after a bit of a break.

 

As for the payment, yeah it makes no sense that in the time it takes to complete 1 survival you could have possibly done 6-7 RR's.

 

Needs a buff.

I tend to grab the objective and then head out to he tiny islands at the very northern-most point of the map. From here I call in my yacht and sail the high seas receiving a barrage of insults and threats to my mothers genitals. Once there is only 1 player left I may head to Martin's but NEVER finish the mission...

 

I have done this loooooooads of time and you know what? Only 1 lobby was smart enough to vote kick me!

@OP - You are comparing things wrong. For the "effort", the Survival pays fair. Not good versus the cookie cutter fastest and better RP+money, but it DOES pay fair.

 

So, you have a choice - go for the best RP+money per hour, or don`t. It is and always has been your choice - get 18k each 5 mins, or 20k each 20. No need to change anything, as long as you, the player, can choose.

Also, if effort per time would be introduced, there are some missions that are a bit more complicated than RR or Coveted, so those should be buffed too.. and that will never happen.

Roof Top Rumble is supposed to be High Priority Case the mission names were mixed up.

Notice there is no roof involved.

In reality RTR is like a 7k mission but with the mix up its 18750 on hard.

High Priority is a much harder mission with a small payday because of the mixup.

Survival should pay a lot more fer sure though.

Btw I saw a vid of a girl doing RtR in under 1:30 with a Bati..

Potshot on Hard costs $117 in ammo and payout is $10,500 / 1430RP.

 

Done right, it takes 3 minutes, and that is mostly driving.

 

I love Survivals, but when Rockstar stopped allowing auto ammo refills, I knew something was up.

 

Because they are basically shooting galleries, it's clear the concept behind Survivals is to get players to exhaust their ammo and buy more, often costing between $5,000 to $30,000, which is insane.

 

So, I stopped playing Survivals, myself, because they just aren't worth the time, expense, or hassle of dealing with lousy players.

 

Perhaps if payouts were more aligned to how much we spend in ammo, then yeah, maybe I'll play them again.

 

For now, there's more fun in making hundreds of dollars playing Knockout with the NPCs on the street in Free Roam.

personally i think RR is over-paid as much as survivals are under-paid.

 

I don't really see difficulty being a variable in survivals. but i would suggest this

 

Survival short - wave 2,4,6,8,10 - $15,000

Survival long - wave 1-10 - $35,000

I am more into this way of thinking:

 

Wavenumber x $1000

Going with at full survival that would be: 1k+2k+3k+4k+5k+6k+7k+8k+9k+10k

This would be 55k for a successfull survival.

 

I think it's fair and you still don't get overpaid for first levels and I think 55k is fair. It's the cost of 110 RPG missils or 220 Grenad launcher grenades.

So you will not go back on ammo used unless you suck ALOT.

 

And I say no to multiplier based on players in the survival. Some of them is easy to do with just two players. I got to wave 9 on the new one, Maze Bank Survival on my first try and I did it solo.

Yes but there are players who aren't high enough to play these high payout missions without being invited to them while they can play survival at lvl 15.

 

So no it's not always a choice because they can't choose to play those missions.

 

How is getting 3400 RP fair when some missions including simone pay more when survival takes more time and effort to do.
