CANT SNIPE PEOPLE OUT OF TANKS NOW?WTF

I have a feeling we will be seeing more jets now..

I tried a jet, a tank guy shot it down. Good thing I have a tank.

 

Yeah won't stop avid pilots from spamming the automatic cannon on the lazer with landing gear down.

Destroy a tank with a jet and send it to Youtube and then here, let's see how strong the jet is against a tank because so far I won all my tank vs jet battles, only 3 happened, but my tank didn't even get really damaged.

passive mode doesnt work as tanks can kill you or have you pinned in a corner. passive mode + teleport was the best combo when in this situation.

 

i think they should make tanks be delivered only at Fort Zancudo.

 

put a cool down on the tanks.

 

make Merryweather Airstrike work like the mercenaries, that you call and mark the target, instead of having to mark it manually.

 

is so ironic that stuff like selling cars at lsc, off radar, mercenaries, bounties, etc all of this things have a cool down time but something destructive as a tank have none!

Rather then a cooldown, limit it to one call a session per player, then only the skilled ones are left and the griefers who had it stolen by a mugger quit the lobby.

cockstar wants the tank to be the ultimate griefing tool... can't snipe the drivers and the tank drivers can destroy PVs with impunity. It's the ultimate griefing machine

 

 

I'm going to spend the next few days destroying as many PVs as I can so that maybe the user base will revolt. It might make Cockstar rethink this decision.

 

I encourage others to Grief lobbies with the tank... make sure that you're at a full-stop before firing. You won't have to pay a dime of insurance or receive a bad sport

I've never had a problem dealing with tanks when in close range. So many players are radar-reliant (which disgusts me), so going off the radar gives you an advantage even over a one-hit-kill weapon.

I've had times where I was able to plant stickies on a pre-occupied tank, detonate them and then finish it with rockets. I've also had less common times where because I was off the radar, I could get in arm's reach of the tank and climb on it and jack it from the driver and repay him the service of spawn killing others til I get bored and destroy his tank and stalk him til he leaves the server via rage quit after sending me threatening texts or cursing me out on the mic. Nothing more enjoyable than giving people a taste of their own medicine. If you're going to do that to others, than you should accept it if it happens to you yourself, not get mad when you were doing the exact same thing to others.

KWhile im great at shooting a tank with a jet, I much prefered sniping. I enjoyed the instant "WTF" 's given off by tank punks. They better add a anti tank weapon or set a timer on when you can call another tank after you lost the first one.

there where two guys in tanks and one guy on a rooftop.

 

the guys in tanks die and i see the message so and so has scoped whatever tanks guy name was.

then i steal the tank and kill the guy with his own tank.

 

sniper guy was well into the hundreds so maybe he had some modded sniper.

if they have patched the ability to snipe tank drivers then i will be in my tank more often.

They obviously did not know what they were doing. It only takes 2.5 seconds of explosive cannons on a full health tanks back vents to destroy it. Fly in from above at a 70-90 degree angle and slow down as you come in, the tank cant even aim high enough at the jet at that angle. But, sniping was more enjoyable. But I can also deal. Its airspace Reflex when I join a lobby and get in a jet.

Alternative way to get rid of tanks

Step 1) Acquire Cargobob
Step 2) Fly towards tank.
Step 3) Go off radar before near tank.
Step 4) Hook up the tank to your Cargobob
Step 5) Fly towards the ocean or up high
Step 6) Drop
Step 7) ????
Step 8) Profit

but look back at the forum topics and most of the proven stuff always starts out with pics or it didnt happen. hell a lot of people here completely refused to believe the free money lobbies back in December were a real thing until they got out of control and rockstar reset everyone's money.

It didn't always have to be rooftops. You could be as far as two blocks away on the same level and still kill them. I do agree with your opinion on that matter though.

Sorry if you took it too personal, I was suspicious because some people were really trying to find a way to snipe a tank today and they were doing it in a closed lobby and so far they couldn't kill the person, but maybe some glitches happen, I don't know.

Destroying a tank should be hard, so either do the work or run away. I'd bet money that most of your tank deaths are due to your own aggression not the tank drivers. I know most of my tank deaths are the result of my own agression.

Killed one with a Titan once, it was already fairly damaged from gunfire all it needed was a severeal ton aircraft crashing straight down ontop of it.

 

 

Because it was an exploit? I want you to think about how a sniper rifle can pierce a tank's armor but another tank can't.
