Cheaters Out in Force Tonight?

Not sure if this is isolated or if it's because of the new toys or even the 1.11 update, but I'm seeing a lot of players with extremely high level numbers.

One of them was glitching in the road, shooting people with rockets or a tank-weapon. He was a bit over the top so I chose to "kick" him, which is when my console froze. I've heard of this happening, but was surprised nonetheless.

Also, driving into LSC only to find it is completely blocked out by blue barricades. I assume it's the Content Creator glitch I read about, but seeing it in action was truly reflective of the Free Roam mode in GTA4 where gigantic ramps, loops, and triceratops cars would appear out of nowhere.

Lastly, the invisible players.... nothing like seeing a Bati motorcycle pull up next to you, sound the "derby" horn, and then lob a sticky next to you and drive off, all without a rider. Or see a chrome Cheetah ram into you, over and over, and when you try to fire at the driver, there's no one there.

Anyone else seeing this kind of stuff? And maybe it's just my experience, but a lot of the high number glitchers seem to have a penchant for the Pig masks.

I normally just join servers with my friends or players I know from here. It's great fun as I know they aren't assholes. Just recently parked my Bati on the wing of the jet and had a guy take off while I was on it. Got pretty high too. Sometimes we ride into incoming traffic with BMXs and bunny hop the cars.

XBox 360. I hadn't seen the Content glitch (barriers) but read about it on this forum. Tonight, it was right there.

 

Also, after I posted this, I went to get my car from Mors Mutual (I was in the area) and there was a player standing there. He wasn't on the map, so I figured he was Off Radar. As I got in my car, he opened fire. I drove a few feet, got out and returned fire.

 

Suddenly, as I'm pelting him, he disappeared.......... only to reappear across the danged street and kill me.

My advice to anyone before entering a public lobby, is to go to an invite only session first enable passive mode. Then go to your public session, I was killed twice in my garage as I entered the server today. Passive mode will carry over switching sessions.

I saw a landshark incident like that and thought it was a fluke, and the freeze cheese happened when we tried to kick him, so maybe it's not an isolated thing.

It's been a little bloated lately with that from what I've seen on 360 also, pretty much gone back to invite only lobbies for the time being.
Haven't had the invisible man incidents personally. Had quite a few people immune to everything except parking on them though.

I've still yet to see the magic items fall from heaven.

But, the more I think about it the more fun it seems. I think it'd be cool if there was a mode kinda like in Halo's content creator. where you can have it as a lobby and just mess around with stuff.

Some knob was doing that in agame I was playing. He was warping all over the place like a Chess piece.

Fly a tank up to maze bank with a cargobob..drive it off the edge if there's too much heat...if its as dangerous as it sounds..your options are limited.

thats what a cheater i know told me when i asked about people trying to ruining the game like they did with gta4...

 

because one thing is being a griefer/spawnkiller and other is altering the world for every player.

I like the content creator glitch though. I use it for fun reasons. If someone is being a douche and trapping you, just simply leave the game. They wont follow.

Not only are they do they hack in free mode, but they hack in death match so I can't kill them in deathmatch because of god mode

Oh, yeah. I don't trust anyone wearing a mask. If I see someone in a mask it's an insta-slaying just to be safe. Sorry masked bobos, don't take it personally!

 

But on topic; folks come out of the woodwork who may have been inactive when new content updates or patches are released.
