Vapid Speedo Van

I saw on here that someone had an upgraded speedo van in their garage. Can anyone help me out? I'm in an invite only session driving by Lester's warehouse trying to get it to spawn. Any suggestions?

i had one way back when online first came out, it couldnt be upgraded but could be insured and trackered, i found speedos and rumpos along this route

Man, I'm the biggest fan of that van. Not sure if you can still bring cars from missions into freemode somehow, but I remember playing the mission Crystal Clear Out III where Speedos were bountiful, and I garage-glitched one for myself.

 

Other than that, I've never seen one in freemode. All I've ever seen were Rumpos, Burritos, and on just one occasion, a Pony. But you guys can actually confirm that the Speedo can in fact be found in freemode, yeah?

They spawn somewhat frequently down in Simeon's dock. Just keep doing "Find New Session"

You know what pissses me off was that I found a rumpo and drove it to my garage and it said "this vehicle cannot be stored in your garage" LIES

Yes but it's stupidly rare, it wont just keep spawning in traffic like regular vehicles, seems to be a random one time spawn on occasion.

I've patrolled all the places van spawns and just eventually gave up and picked up a rumpo (they spawned around MMI for me when driving a paradise).

 

What takes the piss is that there is a black speedo in a 'diamonds for trevor', but the doors are locked, I tried opening it after each objective was reached, but it is locked for the whole thing.

 

There are 2 speedos in 'crystal clear out 3', but it seems because the objective is just to kill people and not deliver something, it wont spawn me in them after going back to free roam.

 

 

Yeah, I spent a long time trying to get this van, and you can't even customise it in any way whatsoever (without modding, and the all options at LSC glitch is patched).

Rockstar is obviously too busy making new quickplay actions and obsolete weapons to bother taking 30 seconds to allow vans to be bought/customised or actually driven into the garage.

After fourth attempt back and forth between my garage and the shop before it let me in. It's now insured. Now I need to customize it.

You can insure the speedo at LSC, but you have to use Charles + iFruit to mod it. Silverfox has a great tutorial on in in the Foxy Customs thread, and he can do them as well.

Heh, timing, I'm trying to do the same thing. Got an insured Speedo just trying to get fiddler working now (speedo won't appear in the sh*tty ifruit app).

 

edit - not sure iFruit Fiddler will work for a speedo, going to give Charles a go when I can be arsed.
