Option suggestion: test drive

For 1% the cost of a car, you can get any car from the place (wherever - a test drive center) and put all mods on it and have it for a half hour or something. This would let us test the cars we want (as opposed to leaving GTAO to test with one of the characters from GTA5, a different game).

 

1% is cheap but not nothing. Test driving the Adder would cost 10k.

And single player is technially a different game I3AZZAI2. As pointed out already in the OP had you cared to read. Cars do handle slightly different in Online compared to SP. You already knew that though right? Plus we still need to spend a lot of money from out SP saves to get the car and mod it. That is just money down the drain even if it is SP money.

 

I like the idea personally. Or even have a test drive option where for 20 mins you can do what you want to the car in a solo session. After 20 mins it returns you to FR normally and you can then decide.

I agree. Imagine having access to a dealership or something and requesting a test drive of their vehicles.

 

It could be like transporting into a race, with a specific route chosen and time limit, etc.

Would make sense, however I think it'd be most fair if it were granted to you in stock guise only and in some urban based race. Interesting idea though.

If in Online already start a solo race and pick the desired car, I know stats aren't exact but I still was able to make a decision based on the race.. Oh an I would like to add that the Jester is basically the coquette with better handling and speed. Sounds EXACTLY the same in case no one knew already.

I've modified some of my custom races to allow testing stock versions at least (and the plane). Its not the same, but its what's available. For xbox....see link in my sig.

 

Edit: I think the ops idea would be an great addition.

With a show floor visible and accessible from doors and windows (remember Grotti and Auto-Erotica in Liberty? Though, dead and soulless in multiplayer, like almost everything in Liberty City).
