How is the Fusilade in races?

I'm just wondering...how does the Fusilade generally perform in races? Has anyone been able to win races in the Fusilade?

I know people generally don't like double posting, but I might keep a Fusilade for a little bit just to be different, and I'd really like an answer.

You won't be different in that thing, I swear I don't know what spawns more in gta Online, the fusillade or the Karin Astoroupe

 

Anyway it's sports class if I remember correctly (I've never owned one) but it is just too outmatched by the ACTUAL sports cars, like the 9F and Jester, so is just sell it before u dump more money in it.

It's the best stealable sports car, but it's like 8th best for racing.

I love it, it's one of the faster sports cars with great handling. It was the very first car I stole and owned in online. Sadly I lost it thanks to the slot 1 spot in the garages losing insurance for no reason.

 

I actually set a world record with that car for a 2 lap race. Sadly I don't remember what the race was.

No offence to your style m8, but good riddance you lost it.

 

(Don't take it the wrong way, I lost my first car, the vapid dominator, to that glitch. I have an identical replacement but it's just not the same in slot 3 )

I have yet to steal another and replace it. I'm hoping rockstar would fix it and restore my car. *fingers crossed*.

I had that car maxed out and never had a problem winning races with it.

The Fusilade is a good little ride, especially if it's your first ride.

However, for racing, it's tailhappy and doesn't have nearly the top speed/acceleration of other cars in the Sports class.

It's based on the Chrysler Crossfire, in real life, which is also not as spiffy as other cars, like it, such as the Mazda RX8.
(I'm not making this up, but some people feel the Crossfire is not the most masculine car. I think that opinion is spinach, myself).

My recommendation is to grab the FREE Elegy and max out the upgrades. I use it and it does great in races, though not always first (might be me? ugh!).

Funny how you were able to beat a Super in a race with a Sports car. Just saying.

^i don't know what patch it was but this was about 3 months ago. I was able to select my fusillade in a race with crew members. It was the only custom car I had at the time.

The Fulsilade would be a stand out coupe, but instead is a third class sports car.

 

And that's a shame. When it came time to locate a space to try a new DLC car, the Schyster got sold. I wanted to love it, I tried to love it, but it just wasn't a contender in a field of fast sports cars.

 

Its a shame this wasn't the car that Social Club handed out. Something to make it more popular, really.
