1000m DRAG RACE : The Ultimate Test.

Hey everybody !

So ! Ever wondered which car was the quickest ? In each class ?

For science ( Yeah Science B tch !)
I tested every available stock cars for racing on a 1000m Drag Race [1000 meters = 0.62 Miles] (this race -PS3- you can download it if you wish), as well as the custom cars I had in my garages.
It doesn't test which has the highest top speed, or which handles the better, but which ones are the quickest on this distance, fixed start.

Unless you're travelling or racing on the freeway, you will rarely encounter straight roads longer than 1000m, in general.

 

Conditions of the tests :
- Solo race, Traffic off, Catch-up off, Slipstream off (lol just in case), midday, clear weather.
- "Full throttle start", that means no "turbo start". Strictly pushing R2 from the countdown to the finish line.
If I used the boost at the start, if wouldn't make the following result viable in any circumstances and for every game modes (free roam, missions, middle of a race, etc).
- For bikes, I didn't use the left joystick to gain speed (not pushing it or pulling it), no wheelie, no tucking. Just left or right to correct trajectory.

Now what I would really like to do is build a complete list of fully upgraded cars ! But for this,

I need your help !

 

Clearly I can not buy or steal every single car possible (I don't have billions of GTA$ sorry), upgrade them and test them, but together we can

All you have to do is :

 

- Check the vehicles that are marked as Missing on the list down below.

 

- If you own one of these vehicles, it must be Fully Upgraded it's important (% of armor doesn't matter)

 

- You can add the 1000m Drag Race (PS3) to your game

(NOTE: I'm sorry, it is not advertising but for the result to be viable, it must be the same exact track for every single vehicle. I didn't spend several hours doing the tests and writing this thread just to adverstise a drag race...)

- Race by yourself in the same exact strict conditions (see the first part of this thread, "full throttle start" and no whelling or "tucking" (laying down on the bike, etc..).

- For optimal result, race 3 times at least (if you wanna do more, you can) to be able to calculate an average time for the vehicle.
( T1 + T2 + T3 : 3 = Average )

 

- Don't cheat ! It's not about who is or what car is the fastest...

- Come back here and share your time so I can add it to the list ! And together we will build it.

No, most of them doesn't exactly reaches their top speed. Like I said unless you're driving or racing or a freeway you rarely accelerate long enough to reach it in general, either races or free roam.

Maybe, but no wheelie allowed here as it would add a variable (irregularity) to the test.

Even tho we all do wheelies as often as we can to race or drive.

After doing both, the Grotti was much further ahead at the start, but still loss, I was stunned when I saw how close though
