Dinka Jester vs 9F

The Cabrio spins out way too easily... I owned one for a month and it didn't stick to the road as well as the hardtop 9F. Test it out in SP and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I have a 9F in single player and the Cabrio online, and they feel exactly the same to me

I think the Cabrio looks better anyway, and that's half the reason I bought it.

9F is a speedy car for a cheap price. The brake is for someone who likes drifting.

 

I sold my Coquette for Jester and keep both.

 

1 more thing is I like 9F design since Franklin started repo it with Lamar.

The Jester is AWD in the sense that the Infernus is AWD and in the sense the 9F wishes it was, both stay pinned fairly well at high speeds.

 

I would swap out the 9F for the Jester at the drop of a hat. Something too good to pass up here (the botched rear end of the 9F only helps the decision IMO).

What's confusing? This is pretty simple stuff.

 

- The Jester is AWD

- The Infernus is AWD

- The Jester's AWD isn't noticeable in a burn out

- The Infernus' AWD also isn't noticeable in a burn out

- The 9F is "AWD" and also not noticeable in a burn out

- The AWD of the Jester and Infernus helps to keep the cars pinned to the ground at high speeds when you turn the steering wheel

- The "AWD" of the 9F doesn't help in the above bullet point/isn't really felt (rear slips out too easily)

- The "AWD" of the 9F doesn't seem to be present - at all (immense oversteer)

- The 9F wishes it had a better "AWD" set up in GTA

- IMO Jester > 9F, it's an easy decision

- IMO one shouldn't pass up the Jester

- IMO the 9F got sloppy in the design department when the rear quarters were reached

I love my 9F Cabrio - had no idea there was any claim that it's weaker/poorer than the hard top?

I too bought it 'cause having a convertible in LS seemed the thing to do, not thinking there'd be a difference.... Either way it's just too damn fun to drive, and I win races in it too. Was half tempted to swap to the Jester... got as far as getting it to LSC before chickening out and driving it back home again

My 9F cabrio has made me over 500k from races so I can't sell it, its too valuable to me. I sold my adder for the jester.

I have 9F, Elegy and Jester now. All are 4WD and I love them...

 

Bye bye to my 2WD sports feltzer... Entity will be next to be sold...

Jester is RWD btw.

 

Yesterday I tried again this car is strange, yes it seems RWD but when you go to a wall from one side of the front touching to the wall the front tires turn too while the car is blocked by the wall. That made me think and believe it is 4WD but unfortunatelly you are right it is RWD.

I sold my 9F right after buying the Jester, mainly because they look similar. Haven't noticed any major differences in performance.

 

 

But it's really down to preference.

Someone earlier in the thread called it best: Its AWD like the 9F is AWD... Which is to say not enough power to the fronts to matter.

 

Elegy AWD keeps it pinned to the ground, but it seems like the 9F (esp the cabrio version) and Jester AWD are so mild as to give no major benefit when you fly through turns. They should both be as equally pinned as the Elegy.

i think that would take away from its quirkiness and why people choose to race it honestly
