Met one guy and we have played together for weeks now, even joined his crew which is full of mostly decent guys and girls. Some a holes, but find me any place in life without one of those and I'll move there.As pointed out, the problem isnt so many bad eggs, Just that itchy finger on the trigger. All it takes is one douche and everyone gets paranoid. There should have been an FF Off choice in lobbies, then you would find lots of decent people. mo-seph Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 i had a random encounter with 4 different guys, all in the same session... id dropped into a public lobby and noticed one of my crew members was in the session. As he was new i hadnt raced/rolled wiht him before, so off i go, trekking across the map... i find him out in the ocean trying to jump on a bouy... so i stop on the beach, get off my bike and salute him (cos in our crew we look after each other, even if youve never met)... so he hops on my bike and we go crusing round LS for a bit, i show him some of my favourite jump spots, he challenged me to get on top of the bridge by La Mesa LSC... then out of nowhere some guy jsut drives up to us... got out his car... no weapon drawn so we leave him be,, he stands around for a minute or two and watches us jumping off a cliff edge, then he goes about his day... over the next 20 mins 3 other guys did exactly the same thing, came over, had a look, fooked off.... was the friendliest random encounter ive had in a long time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
s1ckmad3 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 ^sure if u were on psn i'll add you. girls tend to be friendly cus they don't know how to drive and always ask for a ride in my swag mobile truth is that i do have at least 10 girls in the friends list and other 40 guys ahaha 30 crew members and probably 5 friends irl in there aswell so that said. i do play a lot with 'friends' and when they are not i just go funny on the mic and creep the sh*t out of them until they understand im just playing for fun. there's always some punkass who wants to say is so good and this and that normally they meet my auto shotgun cus i always go off radar and get close to them to blast theyr heads off and keep killing them until they leave. in other way im not hostile in any way because the only thing u will be able to do when u see me is try to kill me because i just passed by you at 300km/h blasting my horn just to say hello...byeeeeeeee sounds legit that chic that friended me after i killed her was a chic too as a matter of fact almost all the legit females (not dudes playing as a chic) friend me after i kill them sometimes before and they are friendly, its just me being paranoid thinking "why are you pulling up so close to me". The47Finn Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 I spotted a level 4 guy yesterday - presumably just out of the Lamar intro, as he was close to the clothes shop near the Police impound. Honked my horn, he got in. Drove directly to the closest store to do a hold up, then dodged the cops and removed the wanted level and took him to a gun shop. Also gave him my share of the loot (Just over $1k) from the shop job and drove off. Saw that he had levelled up to 5 during our little mission so I guess he could get the Micro SMG with the money (or at least some additional ammo). Felt good about it for some reason. Only took 3 minutes of my life but so much more satisfying than just going on a spawn killing spree to get my K/D up when I first came across him. Maybe because I'm older and a little more mature... Also, helping new players and showing them cool environment stuff is way more interesting before getting into the harder stuff. Showing them higher missions etc and helping earn dollars gets me some VERY loyal players who are always up for helping out. I only have one rule... He chased me though the city and I mocked him for not killing me. Then chase though country and I swapped cars to a slow ute then he sank his super car. Then I rode a motorbike and lost him. Then he got a bounty and I hunted him while mocking him that it will be a quick kills. He was lvl 68 and launches a grenade and kills me. I then kill him and then he said let's be friends. I'm really starting to consider getting a tank just for those people who blast on drive by. I'm getting sick of being looked at as that easy target who drives the green Bifta... I got shot down there... Thinking Wtf to do now, someone must of seen cos they went out of their way to get to me over the swamps, pulled up, beeped and dropped me off in the city... I was robbing a store and while waiting I noticed a player walk in and he just stood there for about 3 secs and walked away and drove off and didn't kill me and for some reason I can just imagine him saying 'huh... I'm not saying it's really dependable, I know some can be real A-Holes on a Headset but sometimes it be nice when I say to someone "Would you not Park you Car right in the Spot were going to be driving out" or "Cover me you Idiot while I Hack this thing" I'll know he heard me.
