It's dead confirmed, multiple distances, multiple elevations, over 150 rounds, kaput done finito. Not even the fact they patched it pisses me off. But the little fa**ots who hide in walls, and the ones who still do the blinking godmode glitch are still running about. While the tankers are happy, I hope there's 10 Buzzards working together next time a tank is in the lobby, all with missile cam co-pilots putting an end to his bs.

 

my cop killing rampage is BS? please, enlighten me to how I can effectively stay wanted and not risk death.

Somebody else said it already but I don't think its just tanks. I could only get people in cars today if the car itself blew up from the sniper rounds. Its also the only way I got a tank this evening, he blew up as I'd been trying so long to get him.

For those who are saying sh*t like "yeah but do you think its realistic to snipe a tank if you cant get him with the explosives?", and "do you think you could really snipe a tank?", ermm how about this......................Do YOU think its realistic for a tank to fire and reload unlimited ammo every 2 to 3 seconds? Do you think its realistic that the tanks take around 10 explosions to kill them if not fired towards the rear end? I've watched plenty of videos of tanks being blown up with 1 missile/rocket IRL, I mean, how can we not even blow their tracks off?

I really can not figure out R*'s view of this, its so strange to give the tanks so much power with no clear counter measures. The sniper thing was IMO a fair trade off with the tanks overpoweredness. I just don't understand removing it and basically giving tanks a free run now.

I stole a tank somebody got out of earlier, killed them with it about 10 times and all their buddies. Ended up blowing myself up as I felt like a dick with a weapon nobody could get near, and I'm sh*t at driving tanks. What more proof do you need that tanks are stupidly overpowered? I fully admit I'm sh*t in them but now nobody can touch me in one as they are practically invincible to anything other than another tank or a co-piloted buzzard.

Sorry tank fans but I'm gona have to go all ninja passive on yo asses from now on. I refuse to let it spoil my fun.

More than 250 sniper kills of tank drivers.

Since i learned how to snipe them by beginning of december i killed several tankers every time i played gtao.

I am not really pissed off, but it feels a bit like a let down. I will miss it, because it was part of my daily gtao routine...

I think my grand total is 5 or 6. Tanks are too (if you excuse the pun) hit or miss. I prefer to hit targets at LSC in Rockford Hills and then get them again when they go back to their car, and then get them again and again and again until they put a bounty on me, rage quit or a new target presents itself.

Sh1t...screw the new cars, guns and crap. Long distance sniping was the only thing left in GTAO that was still fun. I could spend hours on a rooftop waiting for one tank to come by to snipe. I would even change sessions often, hoping to get a tank. This is absolutely horrible news. I am in Tanzania at present, so will only be back on Friday to download the latest update...but why even bother now?
