736 heavy sniper player kills. Over half of that would be tanker kills. I didn't care if he was griefing or not. He could've been using the tank to deliver puppies to orphans - didn't matter, still getting shot at.

In that case, there is one good thing that came from them patching this exploit.

what are you talking about? I probably have 200 tank snipe kills. Are you saying that it has always been impossible to snipe someone out of a tank? If you are, you need to hit Alt+F4

I have yet to see proof that you can't snipe them anymore.

i can't offer any proof, but i was trying my hardest to snipe someone out of their tank tonight and failed. with a heavy sniper. i did get to shoot them after a friendly mugger came by, dragged them out, stole their cash and then drove off in their tank, though...

 

noticed also, that i didn't seem to be able to snipe people from their cars, unless i could see their names appearing on screen. which means no long distance sniping.

 

i never kept count of the numbers. not that many. certainly less than fifty. doesn't seem like nearly enough.

 

one of my favourite moments in the game so far, was hearing a tank driver say,

 

"what? how did he snipe me? where is he?"

 

I'm just hoping this isn't true.

Since I am bored with missions mostly all I do is snipe and I have bagged countless tanks but as you said the long distance wtf snipes are the best.

Killing people at the very far end of the large radar and listening to them squeal was fun for me.

I also like to hide my blip after a long distance kill so I get reported and called a cheater or a hacker.

is an awful tutorial about how to snipe tanks if anyone here actually isn't sure about it; personally for me it got so easy 95 percent of the time I got my shots on the first try..I'm not joking I mowed through them if they were in my session. Its basically the easiest kill in the game;..but I doubt I have several hundreds..I like to think I do though lol.

I think I got around 20, I never kept total. It was fun doing it at first, but got bored of it pretty quickly. I'd rather just get my tank out and have a tank fight.

Never got sniped out of my tank though, but I rarely use my tank to be honest.

50% of my sessions would always have a tank in.. as soon as i heard the explosions i went hunting and always got my target.

Wouldn't be surprised if the number was around the 500 mark.. It was my favourite past time.

Enough to where I have had rage in-game texts with generic insults sent to me, mic raging with generic insults, rage bounties put on me, rage mercs sent after me and the person themselves trying their hardest to counter snipe or just kill me in general.

However, I mostly aimed for tanks who were griefing other players via spawn camping or area denial.

First of all 6Xero9, I will enlighten you, for one I never engage any non hostile with any weapon unless they show hostility. Two I never bother anyone killing cops, I strictly kept my tank sniping to LSC griefers or any jackass looking to kill boost. Three don't twist my words, and have a wonderful night. Enjoy killing the police as do I.

Only one. Just last month, using the regular sniper on my first attempt at sniping a tank driver.

Never hear any stories of sniping a tank w/o using the Heavy sniper. Most probably thought it impossible.

 

I usually just tease and avoid tank nubs

e.g

(sit in my car at a location near the tank, and as soon as i see that white dot albeit slowly progressing towards me, I'll speed off around the corner right when he thinks he has a shot. Repeat process 2-5 times)

Agreed. But there are some people that get tanks solely to kill the one annoying griefer, and no one else. I used to do that. But most people do what you said in your first post. They try to kill me, regardless of what I'm doing in my tank.

Actually I've lost track of the kills, but they were significant. It was very simple to do and I wanted to help the people.
