I saw a video recently a friend showed me and I wanted to share it with the GTA Forums. I have become pretty fond of this Youtuber and thought what better way to get info on the patch notes than through a video.

Hopefully you enjoy the info he provides from Rockstars newswire in audio form as I did.

Seriously, how is listening to patch notes an effective way to get the info? It's a lot faster to read.

I don't think that comment was directed at anyone in particular. For reasons outlined in A Message to ... YouTubers there is a lot of negativity towards that community.

 

I don't mind, I just add "- youtube" to my Google searches. It really is a pain to sit through these videos when the subject can be covered better or more quickly in text. I don't mean you specifically as I am not familiar with your work.

I can certainly sympathize with that. The issue has not gone unnoticed by the staff. The way videos are handled may change very soon. Obviously the priority is on GTAF members rather than the YouTube community but perhaps a middle ground will be found.

I don't think that would be the case if 90% of the GTA youtubers weren't basically the same people (personality wise) with the same videos.

There are a ridiculous number of duplicates. I was looking for a video about something mentioned on here and not only were there pages of the same video, all of them were passing around the same bad info.

 

I think it'd be nice if credit was given, and I don't mean to the video that's being copied. I mean to the origin of the information, which is often gtaforums or that other place, 7something.
