I like coveted better much easier imo just take the granger drive in down the hill wait for the cargobob take it and snatch container and your done rooftop rumble is fun as well but i switch around with other higher ranking missions just to keep them from getting boring.

True nothing is as quick but when it comes to fun?

 

Stocks and scares and Method in the madness (both of which pay just as well as Rooftop rumble) are leaps and bounds more enjoyable to play.

 

When I'm farming money with friends we switch between those two missions and rooftop rumble to keep from being bored to tears by how basic rooftop rumble is.

 

If you're gonna do stocks and scares be prepared to hack keypads and crack a safe.

I personally find the mission pretty boring, but it gets the job done in terms of quick cash and RP, so I still play it, good for what it is, an easy grind, but boring compaired to Stocks and Scares for example. IMHO.

The hard missions will get you nothing over 6-9k (approx) - RR on the other hand..

It's what I wanted all missions in GTA V to be about, not just Online but also in the single player.

 

Nothing feels better than randomly parking your vehicle in front of a parking lot, taking out your Light Machine Gun and spamming the hell out of it every direction inside of the building like if you were Tony Montana.. and driving out of there like a maniac back to the mansion.

 

And it also pays a lot, not that it matters to me anymore as I've made a lot already thanks to playlists and the bonus weekend.

It is easy. Except when npc drivers do anything in their powet to block the road and I am not talking about the feds.

I feel like I can do Coveted quicker. Takes maybe 2 1/2 min tops to get to / lift off with the chopper. All in all like a 6 min mission. Sure RR pays $750 more, but that's nothing lol.

With a 3-man crew doing nothing special and using an entity to drive the package to martin's I timed Rooftop Rumble at an average of 2m15s over a 2-hour session.

 

If RR is taking you anywhere near 6 minutes or more, you are doing something strange and inefficient to complete the mission.

 

Drive to the back door. Kill the enemies. Get the package. Drive to Martin's.

There are quite a few well paying solo missions, RR is certainly the best rp/time if you are into that. I'm done worrying about levels, and don't really need more money until there's more property to buy, so I just do missions for fun. I typically just do whatever mission comes up on the options screen after whatever mission I've just done... Beats jacking off in free roam.

When you had to wait for it to get phoned in, it wasn't bad. It was quick and fun. Now that its the only mission my friends want to play, and the only random contact mission I ever join, I'm utterly burnt out.

 

I hope they nerf the piss out of it down to a payout equal to its effort, which is none.

 

As for Coveted, other than level 36, I never got the appeal.

I will start off a session with Rooftop Rumble, but the only mission I farmed over and over again was Coveted.

 

Not so much anymore. I just do random missions.

I call a buzzard it's cheaper than meryweather and it spawns a block away at the hospital. Go get it park on side of the building f*ck everybody up grab the documents hop in the chopper. I'm gone, done in minutes. You can take out the three cars that come if you really want the RP.

You can't make playlists with Normal missions, you can only use the versus missions, it sucks hardcore..

 

Besides that pretty good to do.. 18.7k plus 4k + RP everytime..

Grinding missions, especially RR is tedious.

 

I have the most fun completing ALL the missions that pay 15k+.

 

I make way more money than grinding and I'm never doing the same thing more than once.

 

Seriously there are about 10 missions that pay well and are NOT hard.

Amen to that. Every random mission I join is either RR or Coveted. Occasionally I land in anothe rmission. R* need to either nerf these, especially RR, add in some extra things you have to do to RR or increase the payout on every other mission.

Stocks and Scare is fun but the enemy spawning is terrible on that mission. They spawn right infront of your very eyes from nothing. As soon as you kill him a new pop up at the same spot or right behind you in the corner you just cleared. Its both hilarous and disturbing at the same time.
