Rare cars now available to buy?!?

In the 1.11 patch, new vehicles were added. As we all know the Jester, the Turismo and the alpha were added but they aren't the main discussion. The other new cars that have been added are rare cars such as the intruder, the bobcat xl, the rancher AND the Asea. Now, some of you may be happy but I'm kind of pi**ed off. The reason being is that these were rare cars and it was uncommon to see online players drive them. Me myself had the asea and the intruder. The only reason I drove them was because they were rare and I could show off, but, there's no point in that now. They're not rare cars what's the point in driving them? Anyway. What's your opinions? Are you annoyed or happy that you can buy these 'rare' cars.

There is no rare cars on GTAO. The Rancher spawned for me just as much as any other car, the Asea is a sh*tbox rental car, and the Intruder i'm glad is on the website because I wanted that car for the longest time. Stop f*cking complaning because your Suburban and your Hertz rental car is available for everybody now, not that anybody really wanted them in the first place.

ha the point of a care being rare is that it will take awhile to find but as you said they are available to buy now well the sultan not there so thats still one you have to look for

Why would you be pissed though? It's a video game, if you get upset over two cars that equal like 20K then you need to rearrange your priorities.

I had an asea since day one.. knew it was uncommon in sp so I picked it for the race. I wound up keeping it. I don't care that people can buy them now. I think any vehicle should be purchasable. Not everyone has hours a week to play gta.

Asea is sh*t, like Blingy said, but I'd imagine it's still "rare" in Single Player, which the game should be focused around, not that lame crock of sh*t called Online.

 

I wish I was a Computer Programmer/Engineer and could take out half the size of GTA V (8 GB+) and get rid of that sh*tty Online mode, I never touched it, and I never will. Nor have I touched GTAO on San Andreas or IV. Thankfully, there was none of that child's play on III, or Vice City...Thank the Lord!

Why hate Online....Cuz it's ruining Single Player experience. Rockstar is shifting their focus to that nonsense and leaving out stuff in Single Player - Which is what I been doing since GTA III. If they continue down their route, me, plus many many many other people will not buy the new games anymore.

 

Online is mainly for younger generation kids to play with friends. I don't need friends to have my back at Fort Zancudo, for instance, or while playing missions, etc.

 

GTA V as a whole is watered down so much and is a lot easier and targeted at a more casual gamer unlike the PS2 era games and GTA IV.

 

Asea is just a box looking car, there is nothing unique about it, other than that it's "rare" in Single Player, but can be obtained with the Submarine Parts. Space Docker is no different, these vehicles are a waste of space in my eyes.

Franklin's version of the Bravado Buffalo is still a rare thing for online play. Plus hardly anyone bothers with the slow Hearse. Everyone would rather drive super cars. So being ticked about the cars they added is foolish. I wish they would add the "Mammoth Guardsman" to the game. That is basically my idea of what they could name the HUMMER H1 and have a truck model. The H2 isn't all that cool since it's a wagon.

A solid answer. In my opinion. I think the technology is whats chamging the game focus.. graphics now take so much longer to create that in order to maintain profits they trim. San andreas is a good example. The world felt huge.. gtav does not. But gta v has so much detail.. thats where the focus is now. The online is minor.. world and most resources are already made.

I was actually so pissed off when I saw the intruder which I spent over a week trying to find before I managed to get one on the site.

That was my sleeper. Not a single mod to the outside and never once got attacked since when I parked it, it didn't stand out at all.

 

I actually sold it this week thanks to the update.

2. It's all over sandy shores and when your going up the west highway heading north, when you drive past the café on the right which you can buy in SP, take your next left and follow the dirt road to the beach, you usually find one down there too.

Every car should be available to everyone. Why lock away certain cars to single or make a car impossible to grab without abusing glitches? That's stupid.

 

Also give us police mods. You can get them in real life, hell I even have them. Why not in GTA, where your goal is to commit crazy amounts of felonies?

So being ticked about the cars they added is foolish. I wish they would add the "Mammoth Guardsman" to the game. I love my Romero Hearse. I also have 0 sports and supers in my garage. Closest thing is the Albany Roosevelt.

 

I somewhat agree with OP on this one. I don't get Rockstar's decisions regarding their vehicles. They take away the cop cars, take away the Rat-Loader out of the blue before randomly bringing it back, make some variations of certain cars unstoreable (Clean Rebel) for long periods of time, etc. Hell, we still can't store the Merryweather Dilettante despite the fact that it isn't a true police/emergency vehicle. Weird.

Thanks for the info; I'll have to check that western area later. It's the "clean" Surfer I've been looking for-forgot to put that. I've only ever seen the rusty ones in Sandy Shores

and have never seen either on the website.
