How to add extra armor on tanks

How do you do this?

 

I was just in free roam with my tank (brand new, zero damage) and I was heading to take out another guy in a tank. When I got to him (I was still completely undamaged) I shot his tank first, then it was basically back and forth with shots until I blew up first (even though I know for a fact I shot his tank at least 1 more time than he shot me)..... but ok, whatever.... BUT THEN, after I re-spawn I shoot his tank with TWO rockets from my rocket launcher and he just drives off.

 

And as I'm writing this, he is still shooting other people while they shoot him.

 

ok ok, I know... there isn't extra armor... but is this a new glitch?? Indestructible tanks??

tanks take way more damage to the rear. if fighting another tank always make sure the front is facing the bad guy.

 

RPGS stickies and cars do pretty much ZERO damage to a tanks FRONT END.

i had a similar experience yesterday

 

I shot him 3 times to the side before he got one off on me then he comes closer and we exchange same number of shots to each other's front. I die. Normally I would think ok I was outplayed, but there was no f*cking smoke on his tank at all, it should have taken some damage but it was like new.

 

Probably some mod or w/e. And honestly in a game where people can spawn props wherever they want it's not so hard to believe they can give their tanks extra armor. Super annoying glitch on top of the invisible (in person and radar) glitch.

The only suggestion i can offer is "Operation Human Shield"
