Is anyone out there now playing legit since the latest patch?

So i'll admit, on my first character I did a bit of glitching. However this came after I had saved up for my adder, monroe (and most of my cars), appartment, clothes, tattoos and pretty much everything else. I'll admit, with the help of a friend I glitched over 2billion, but the little amount that I got to use (before R* took it away) just went on on ammo and helicopter pickups.

 

Since the latest patch I've created a new character and have been playing completely legit. I'm not going to glitch at all (I'm not even sure if there are even simple glitches out there anymore). So my question to you is have you been playing legit since the latest patch, or are you going to continue to exploit the game

Yea, I started playing legit right after I sold ten Adders out of my 2nd character's garage after the money wipe. Then I did some solo car duping to earn another $5 million or so. So . . . I guess not Still less tedious than grinding Coveted though

I spent some of my gifted cash on an apt. and cars back in December, but never did any RP stuff. I've been completely clean since the wipe, other than glitching in Franklin's Buffalo.

I have always played legit. The only things I glitched on ever was the paint glitch, and franklins buffalo.

I barely used them anyway, except occasional car duplications (and not the crazy way either, just liking a friends car and wanting it for myself). I've never had more than a million in this game and any time I've come close is because I was specifically saving for something (The Entity), As much as the missions get stale I still actually enjoy them. playing around on Rooftop Rumble, Defender, Trash Talk, Chemical Extraction, On Maneuvers, Base Invaders, etc is actually fun so yeah... no interest in glitching right noq.

By legit I mean how R* wanted us to play the game. Yes there aren't meant to be any rules in freeroam, but every game has rules. If duplicating cars and glitching bounties was considered legit then I'm sure R* wouldn't be patching our ability to do it. And if anyone makes the rules, R* does.

Cheating/glitching takes the fun out of the game. Getting a car from SP into MP that wasnt already there is one thing but money glitching, going out of map and NOS cars are for lames.

I glitched Franklins buffalo first instance it came online. Then when I was gifted 2 billion I bought an apartment and filled up my garage with cars I wanted other then that nothing been clean and sober after franklins.

And I'm sure you also need 'don't spit at your parents' documented as well so that you can follow that rule? not eveything in life has written rules. It's called common sense. If it is something that has been/is being patched by R* it is not the way you are supposed to play the game. Similarly if people are being banned because of a certain action it is obviously not something R* want you to do.

I really wish R* would put an end to glitching and cheating. I'm still seeing modded lobbies, i'm still seeing people in god mode shooting miniguns from rooftops.

Also for the first time ever last night , i went to LSC and found the alley way blocked by a container, wtf??? people laughing on mics. Honestly its f*cked.

Seems people have found ways to bring in items from the creator tool.

it's ok if you don't want to be legit, but don't pretend like you don't know how.

All I'm trying to point out is there are no rules defined by R*. So this means we are left to our own moral compass to define our morality in this GAME.

 

For me personally I find nothing wrong with glitching to get more $ specifically because of the cash card BS and affiliated limiting of our ability to earn more $. Similarly nothing wrong with bringing in a car from SP to MP

 

I think using glitches to win online races or death matches with god mode or NOS is sh*tty and won't be doing that. But otherwise it's like the constitution where if if doesn't specifically state you can't, you CAN.

My only glitches were the underwater briefcase glitch in SP, Cargobob website glitch, Frank & Trevors vehicles SP to online glitch.

 

But now that I know how easy it is to bring vehicles from SP ( and R* capped vehicle sales at $10K) I think I will be doing that one a lot more.
