The "special" carbine.

Now, I don't usually do this, but I felt like discussing the new carbine, and only the new carbine. If I'm not mistaken, that appears to be a G36 of some kind, probably a c. (compact/carbine/commando/what ever you want to call it, the smaller variant of the standard G36.)

 

 

What makes this carbine "special" persay? Are they just calling it that because they can't call it a G36? Like they did with the others? (The M-tar, the M416 look alike, and the Chinese knock off of the AK.) You think it's going to be better than what we already have? Or worse? I'm hoping it'll have all the mods like the rest of the vanilla guns. (scope, mag upgrade, suppressor, etc, etc.)

I don't know what to expect for this weapon. I'm very interested in it though and hope it's marginally better than both the regular Carbine and Advanced rifles. Render wise it looks pretty good though.

Fun fact we actually saw laser sights in old screenshots but they aren't in the game.

It's only "special" if your character's facial features become downsy when you fire it. That I would pay for.
