what the hell else would I need my mechanic for other than being UNoccupied?

been getting this response from my mechanic for a couple days now(real world days) was funny at first but now its getting extremely annoying. Does anybody know how to rectify this... I feel like I've tried everything from starting a new session too restarting my Xbox. If someone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciated it.

you need to buy him a record of songs played on channel X

it's available on certain convenient stores

Not sure exactly of your situation but I might try taking a PV out of my garage, blow it up, request PV from quick menu, buy a new property (if you can afford to) basically anything that has to do with my vehicle, if all fails, mixed tape

my mistake, this happened to me because I put all my cash on second character and therefore couldn't pay mechanic.

that tend to happen when you miss the daily payment...

 

but thats all i get when i try to call him since the patch, even know i pay his fee everyday.

If you missed the daily payment...just try to stay in a session for like 5 hours in a row. without leaving that session.

5 hours is 1 week GTA time ;-) after that he start paying daily costs again.

and keep a spare 5000$ to prevent this in the future ;-)

 

requesting your PV from the select menu will give you the Note : you missed your daily payment

Maybe OP should give public transit a try.

 

I mean, what will it take for you to leave your car at home and take the bus? What do you want? On-time arrivals? Regular service? Strippers on the buses?

Im sure this was for a noble reason and you didnt move all the cash from your main character so you could use them to blow up other peoples personal vehicles without having to pay their insurance insurance.

got sick of paying for my vehicles because of a tank.

Without leaving the session, does that mean no missions, no nothing whatsoever? Freemode only?

Maybe 48 minutes in one session should be enough. That's when you pay daily fees.

 

But I have never not had enough money to pay the Mechanic, so I have no idea.
