(rant) Every new GTA:O 'content' update adds more ways for us

..to SPEND money, and no new ways to MAKE money.

 

So, ok, we get a couple of new, shiny cars to empty out our bank account balances and a couple more boring weapons to try out. What about new missions/ mission types. How about finally expanding the 'jobs creator' to allow the community to create their own missions, and/or adding missions that go beyond stealing and bringing a package from point A to point B? Seems over 90% of them are that.

How about adding a high end (read: expensive sports/super cars) to 'high priority' Simeon vehicles, so that there's more incentive to go after them. I cannot tell you how many times I see the 'Simeon vehicle is no longer required' message, all because most know how little pay there is for them. Also, how about making ATMs rob able, with a good 10-20K payout - so that there's an alternative to stores and armored trucks.

 

 

Btw, what's the deal with adding the same types of guns? How many assault rifles and pistols do we need? How about a powerful revolver (.44 Magnum, perhaps) with a six-round magazine, or a chainsaw, or a flamethrower, or an autolocking anti-aircraft/anti-tank weapon. Or, how about adding player controlled flares to luxury planes like Luxor and Shamal, so that they don't immediately get obliterated by auto locking Buzzards and Lasers, and their high price becomes even remotely justified? OR, how about making the effing jet purchasable through Pegasus; make it $2-3M, I don't care. Just make it purchasable.

While I do agree most missions feel what you described they do,I wouldn't mind more like these added.

Why doesn't R* just give us something which involves co-op

I seem to remember the splash image for Beach Bum said it offered 30 new activities, plus Race and DM Creator.

And I'm pretty sure that VDM advertised 10 new activities.

Unless I'm mistaken, DB is opening talking about the Capture Creator, meaning infinite new jobs (and maybe a good one or two).

Post glitch/gifted money, I have nothing to spend money on but ammo. Grinding for the Roosevelt was something new, because I actually had to play the game to earn the money.

I clearly state that my main problem is with lack of new ways of MAKING money - not spending it. The secondary problem being with 'content updates' more of the same what we already have (weapons/cars/clothes) - and not new things that can spice up the gameplay.

I argued about the lack of new ways to make money - not the difficulty.

 

Besides, 'Hard' is really relative term here. As a lv120 who can easily start/complete high paying missions, it isn't hard for me. Boring, maybe, but not hard.
