A friend of mine got banned for a month and had his account reset but he didn't do anything wrong.He was about lv38 with 50k in the bank.He never glitched,hacked,cheated or got bad sport since he started playing.He sent rockstar an email and called them,telling them what happened but they said it was his own fault he got banned but didn't actually tell him what he'd done to get banned.He lost all the Valentine's day stuff he bought and never will be able to get it back as his account was reset.Has anyone else experienced anything like this and if so do you have any advice on what he should do???

Well if they pissed off a lot of people and he did cheat somehow, then there you have it. Besides how do you know your friend didn't cheat? Also if he did cheat he did something to get noticed and get caught. Most people only get banned because of them getting reported and t hen getting noticed. As far as I know if you're cheating at the expense of other players and exploiting the game and "spreading" it you will get banned.

Do you have the Social club name yet.

 

When u are perma reset to 1 unless your spawn is set to garage before u are banned you cannot access any vehicles and must change clothes in shops. He would still have clothes and guns but could not buy ammo for anything other than the pistol. also if he spawns in his house he has 1 chance everytime he joins a server to pick the 1 car he wants to play with. Pegasus or the mechanic cant be called either

Then there is nothing he can do until his punishment time is up if this is his first ban then it'll be 2 weeks until he can log on again.

 

He is probably console banned so making a new account to play with won't work either the ONLY way around it is to get a difference PS3 with a difference ID code otherwise he and everybody who plays GTA on that console won't be able to play for 2 to 3 weeks.

 

He didn't loose anything everything he has will still be there once he is able to log back on again.

I know he told you he wasn't cheating but you need to listen he was cheating some how or some way maybe he tried the heist DNS and got banned for that because R* doesn't ban you for no reason they do it case by case basis now because they are able to pinpoint cheaters.

I'm legit and I'm higher than 200. It's not impossible to be very high level and a legit player. A friend of mine is over 450. It's easy to tell he's legit when you see how many races he's played.... Over 4000 in case you're wondering.

I'm legit and I'm higher than 200. It's not impossible to be very high level and a legit player. A friend of mine is over 450. It's easy to tell he's legit when you see how many races he's played.... Over 4000 in case you're wondering.
