I don't think it's a Five-seveN. It has a hammer and looks like a modernised 1911 clone. It's also called the Heavy Pistol so that suggests a powerful round (so 9mm is out of the question, which basically leaves 5.7, .40S&W and .45ACP). It looks the most like the Springfield Operator 1911 clone to me.

Heavy pistol or not, you don't stand a chance in a typical Deathmatch where weapons are set to Owned + Pickups. Assault Rifles and MGs will mow you down before you even get close enough in the Pistol's effective range to do any decent damage (regardless of headshots) unless you play at constant stealth mode pace to creep up on others.

The AP Pistol is still the best one.

 

I wish I could permenatley drop the pistol Lamar first gives you and somehow remove the .50 cal pistol.

 

AP pistol is all thats needed in that category. The new assault rifle kinda sucks too.

 

Don't understand how they give us NEW weapons but they have all been worse then the ones we already have had since day 1.

 

How about some anti air craft wepons(lock on rocket launcher), land mines maybe?

 

Seriously the taser gun would be more fun then the new pistol.

It's a tactical 1911 which means it's a .45 caliber with the rail system, like the guy above a few posted only the picture is of a mil spec version
