WHAT THE HELL, HITMAN?

So, by now, we pretty much all know about those hitmen in the black cars, speeding by. Usually a Sentinel XS. They pop up every now and then, especially when joining a session or entering free roam after a mission or all those things... But I just logged in today, and... Holy sh*t. Is this some sorta glitch? Maybe it's somehow the game building up to the Business Update? But basically...

There are Hitmen ALL OVER. I spawned in, noticed a black car speeding by, didn't care much, it happens all the time. I drive for a lil bit, and... Another one speeds by. Now these aren't Sentinel XS. I spawned in the swamp, walked up to the bridge that leads into the tunnel, where the first one speeds by from out of the tunnel, I can't remember what it was. Second was a sedan, something like an Oracle or Fugitive, speeding by me as I stole on the bridge near Fort Zancudo. Then I drive off and get caught up by a Dominator, which speeds by, overtaking me. Huh. Three black cars.

So I spot a Youga and kinda forget about the black cars. I grab the Youga cuz I wanna see if I can actually store it. Might be a fun car for a lil while, in that empty spot in my garage, until March 4th... I steal it, get a one star wanted level, and I take off... Only to nearly instantly see a black Schafter speeding behind me, dodging and weaving the cop cars, and opening fire on me! The guy actually manages to dodge my SMG quite well and actually ends up killing me, sending the Youga into a crash that, well, honestly, it looked pretty damn cool. I respawn on the nearby beach, go to the Youga, it's still there, damaged. So is the black Schafter, crashed into the rocks, but no driver to be seen.





By now, I'm just thinking they changed the freaking spawn rate... But on my way from this corner, the bottom left of the island, and the few minutes of driving towards the downtown LSC, I get overtaken by at least one more Schafter, a Fugitive, an Oracle aaaaand two Dominators. Of those two Dominators, I shot my AK at the back of the last one, to which the hitman hit the handbrake, pulled a 180, drove a bit to me and got out, pulling out a gun. I kinda expected it and pulled out my shotgun, blasted the guy twice.



And I've been seeing them spawn all over afterwards, too. What the hell is going on, this is insane, they're everywhere! I see at least as many hitmen as regular cars now! What's going on? Is anyone else experiencing this?


TL;DR: Hitmen are taking over the city! Are you getting crazy spawn rates as well?

On a (perhaps useless) sidenote: I thought people mentioned being unable to store the Youga. Either way, Youga works, Clean Rebel still doesn't.

Or was this about another van? Maybe the Rumpo? I dunno!

They are referred to by R* as "joyriders" and advise you to look out for them.

 

I've seen this recently in the little black help boxes in the corner during game loading.

I dunno! They're spawning all over, haha, they just keep appearing! It's an invite only server, haha

I spawned in the swamp near Fort Zancudo, walked to the bridge that leads into the tunnel, went south on the outside of the island, until I entered the city, where I took the main road to the LSC. Y'know, that big double road that curves towards it? The last Dominator shot was on that road, after customizing the Youga. They're just spawning all over, around me, it seems!

 

Unless ya mean the last shot, which is the Youga I modified, and a pretty reliable Clean Rebel spawning spot, haha... If you look at the map, go to the bottom right. Underneath where the highway curves outwards, where the gunshop and the gas station is, there's a couple of wiggly roads leading to the East, with two Team Deathmatches (17 and 24) and a Water Race (11). The one closest to the beach, that's where stuff like Clean Rebels and Clean Surfers like to spawn. Even a freaking black and grey Surfer!

I saw one in a Stinger GT, when i stopped him and shot at him he came out with an SMG he allmost killed me. I was not ready for that.

Seems like if they decided to make DLC similar to RDR Undead...the Hitman in droves would be crazy fun, and more with the Spirit of GTA.

It seems all these vehicles are black, and usually speeding. Shooting at em even once or getting wanted sets em off, I think!

I saw one today in a Black Zion,he killed my Friend near 2 Policemen and then got chased down by the Police...

I've seen one in a Stinger GT before, but now they're just... Spawning again and again and again.

I just had that happen to me after I got one of those texts from Simeon. All the cars with those ruthless bastards were the cars on Simeon's list. Odd, huh? Of course, when I finally kill one of them, it turned out to be a sh*tty car that only got me $4K, but whatever.

I was fired on by one of those boneyard survival fellas in the overalls driving what appeared to be maybe one of those benefactor suvs when i was driving up tongva dr. I might have bumped his car but definitely didnt shoot at him. first that is

Is that what they are? I jumped in a car the other day in the passenger side and one of them jumped in the drivers side. My character naturally pushed him out of the car and took the drivers seat.

 

Had no idea what was going on. I thought it was a mugger.
