I just bought a luxor last night too! I have to make that 1.6 mil back before next Tuesday hey.... challenge accepted.

Will probably definitely go for the plane and the costumes.

Cars will be tricky enough without new garage space, but if there's a really good one, then I'll have to get it.

 

Any hints about more garage space or is that just wishful thinking?

Yeah all the new cars are surely very nice, but where the f*ck I should store it? Already have 10 cars which I not want to replace.

come on guy, rockstar lets you sell those old nasty cars for $10k. that sounds like a great deal considering the time it took grinding missions to unlock, upgrade, and paint your old cars. why wouldnt you want to dump them for new expensive cars that you need to upgrade and paint?

 

yes i want more stuff but i dont want to just trash my old stuff. i know those shareholders like to milk the sh*t out of pv cash card money but give us more garage space already.

I don't know about y'all but I'm excited about this update. I'm sure heist will come. I would much rather they take there time with heist than to rush it out. Just me tho.

I hope one of them at least is in sports category, and another in super, because I'd like to replace my ugly Feltzer and Entity with something I like not only for its handling and performance in racing.

 

I'm interested in the clothes as well, but not much, because my female character is not really a business woman. The haircuts might be good tho. I'll take a look at the new rifle too.

 

I don't really care about the new plane.

I've got the money, but I don't have the garage space. There are a few cars I could get rid of, but two things stop me.

 

1. I can only sell my current cars for $10k.

2. I need to know what the insurance replacement cost of these new cars will be, unless they also mod the insurance rules with the DLC.

 

If they fix these two issues then I'll buy a few new cars. Otherwise I'll just sit tight and drive my cheap ass Sultan.

 

I believe they already fixed the insurance loss glitch in 1.10. IIRC insurance cost is roughly 1/10 of the value of the vehicle with the deductible being around 1/100th the value,

I doubt I'll replace any of my current cars just yet (unless one of the new Sports Cars turns out to be better than the Elegy, in which case I'll swap it out in my racing garage), I really hope they don't keep coming out with more DLC without unlocking more character slots because both of my garages are fully modded and squared away exactly how I want them, I need more character slots if I'm gonna get any more cars (and I do want more cars, these ones included, just not in either of my current garages).

 

Damn it this is frustrating, and on top of it they STILL aren't telling us sh*t about Heists (not that it stops them from teasing us about it). This new DLC certainly looks okay and I'm hopeful there will be a basic black suit whose jacket and pants actually match (fingers crossed), but there's only so much longer I can put up with being lead on about heists without any real word about them or what to expect... Such bullsh*t, get it together R*, people are quickly running out of patience.

Really don't get the point of buying any aircraft other than Buzzard and Cargobob.

 

Luxor ALWAYS spawns in Devin Weston's hangar. Titan ALWAYS spawns in the far hangar facing the main airport entrance (one with a ramp). Stunt planes spawn all over LS International airport. Same for other small planes. Maverick/Frogger spawn almost every time you drive onto the helipad. Annihilator is sometimes parked there too.

I may be wrong but the airplane in that screenshot looks like the doctor killer. Back in the day there were advanced aircraft designed that had the rear wings in a V shape like in the screenshot however those airplanes were a bit harder to fly and took a more experienced pilot. However all the doctors who were rich wanted it cause it was the latest and greatest and they of course wound up crashing them which drove that particular model of aircraft to be abandoned. I think it was ultimately redesigned with the standard wings in the back.

 

Good catch. The Beechcraft V35 is a prop plane, but it definitely seems to be the model for the one in GTA. Not only was it called the doctor killer, but it also happens to be the type of plane Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper were in when they crashed.
