SingularSoul Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Hmm... Thunder/ stormy weather seems more stormy, and the flashes of lightning seem to be brighter and more frequent. It also seems to make the game far darker, like in real life. I'm quite pleased with this, as the stormy weather was too gray and light before, making it feel fake. Because when I go to play the game it notifies me there's an update, which is 67MB. I downloaded, start the game but there's never anything added. I go into the pause menu and download the business update that way which is probably what you're supposed to do - but what was that update I downloaded in the first place?? The update itself, is just to patch the game to fix bugs and things. And get the game ready for the business update. You have to figure, not everyone is going to download it right away, but the game still has to work, in case you come across someone that actually has the business update items. The Actual DLC that you manually download, actually adds the items to your game. Still waiting to see if anyone knows about these clothing/masks and stuff, being added to Single Player. Edit: masks aren't in single player.. so i'm guessing the clothes aren't either. Goddammit. I really wish they'd add more clothing and masks to single player too. I enjoy being able to change how my single player characters look. Especially if they end up adding fun clothes, like, clothes based on famous things. KeepCalm and CarryGun Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 As with all previous DLC, the SP goodies are automatically added to your weapon wheel & each character's large garage as special vehicles, this is par for the course. The guns have removed all the ammo from my pistols and rifles for 2 of my characters, but this happened with the Valentines pack too, must have something to do with supplying each new gun with minimum ammo. Boo. The new pistol looks like an M1911, power looks good in the stats too. Have to say, the cars are an unexpected bonus The Beach Bum pack gave us the Bifta (which I got a lot of fun out of) and 2 others I have honestly never really driven... The 3 cars from this update all look The Business The Elegy used to be my go to car for quick escapes from my garage, the Turismo is a definite step up. Quicksave inside a vehicle, it automatically is duplicated into the impound upon reloading your game. Pisses me off as I use the impounds as two car garages. The only way to fix this was through a save editor, made by ONE MAN, who is not getting paid, and knows more about computer programming than a million dollar company called Rockstar....f*cking pathetic... Wine Red and Nautical Blue with a Diamond Blue pearlescent. I kept the carbon roof as it looks like a damn race car with a blue roof. The Jester seems wicked cool, wasn't driving it as much though. It looks really boring stock. I gave it a bright paintjob and some mods and it went from zero to hero. Really a cool car fully tricked out. The Alpha looks like it should be driving in traffic, and if it were it would be one of the cars I'd rather not drive. The hood is the coolest part of the car, it's big. Makes it look a little tougher. I don't care for the Vestra. It flies a little bit too heavy for my taste. It's like super fast, but I still ended up crashing into the ground shortly after attempting to do any wild stunts. The heavy pistol is outclassed by the .50 Cal. It's like the .50 Cal pistol for people who didn't get the special edition. It performs like it, but the .50 Cal has better stats round the board. Speaking of hood, is it just me in SP (not sure about online, I don't online) but the default station for my alpha is; Radio Los Santos. Not a bad/hate thing, I just didn't expect that (alpha) car for the station choice. Turismo has West Coast Classic default. The Jester has I think it was FlyLo or Lowdown station default. Which I would expected had the Radio LS station & the alpha with the Lowdown or FlyLo default. The guns meh, don't really have a say I mean outside SP missions I hardly use weapons because cops roll in heavy one star army force for the opposition I'm defending myself against or retaliated against. I haven't seen the weather difference just yet, might get Trevor to bang Ursula so it storms, I noticed difference in traffic and spawns. This I noticed and I don't spend much time in desert so if this is not new change forgive me but I never seen this; I seen the big rig's with car trailers but never with cars on them. Sorry for bad photo's I was trying to snap them on my iPad in one hand while driving with the other hand to get a decent view for picture before it went out of sight or I crashed. Suddenly it's around Vinewood and this is on my new file I haven't completed or even done the stranger task for this spawned bike? Just went to my garage and got out the FIB granger for room to place my Vacca and Mesa (when I'm up to that part of SP they spawn in for me to take) and when I driven out that bike was ridin' past? Playing online last night and I saw buses driving for the first time since what feels like forever. I had expected this to be an awful update like the Beach Bum pack but with the sheer number of fixes, additions and DLC It's definitely the best update so far. I'll give this update 9/10. Rockstar are definitely on the right track, I just want my tommy gun back and I'll be extremely happy. I've actually got an GTAO character looking the way I'm very happy with using a combination of this Business pack and the Valentines Day pack. But now non of them work when you apply them to your vehicle. I also noticed other small things i never saw before. I smacked into a brick/concrete wall, and there was a big crack left behind where i hit it. Also, it's probally me, but it seemed the cops where more laid back. I was executing hookers, and it took a while before they got there. Also when i hid behind a wall they didn't do anything to me. What I also saw that was different was the security guys got out of the armoured truck and began firing at me as I stole the cash and that never happened to me before.
