i tried to change my nat setting from moderate to open. but it went to strict insted? why? please help me get the rigth setting. im laging like crazy in gta online

depends on what router your using as they all have different GUI, no-one can jsut tell you how to change the nat settings wihtout knowing what device your using.

 

as for the lag have you ran speed and ping tests and traceroutes to see if your losing packets and to measure your ping?

 

youd be better speaking to your ISP about a fastpath profile and asking them to assist you with reducing your ping and latency

Try turning off Media Server Connection in network setting then do an internet test. It changed mined from Nat 3 to Nat 2.

i followd my internett providers step's on changing the nat setting (they had an article on their website) and did all the steps correctly using the ports 3074 and 88. when i was done i ran a test connection on my xbox. and the setting went from moderate to strict?
