I support it fully. I hate microtransactions that sell you the item itself. Uncharted 3 literally will unlock the rank 75 (max rank) weapon EVEN if you're level 1, provided that you pay them 0.99$.

cash and rp have no ties in gta. you can still have an advantage at level 1 with cash over someone else. even if it only means full ammo for that one pistol... with the itemized DLC there would be no stat increases on anything available to the player.. only more extra content, like cars or extra weapons, weapons skins, clothes, better living quarters... etc etc.

I don't follow the general idea here.

I don't feel like reading posts of what probably is an argument, man.

Let's just say you do have a good point, but I'm just as stubborn as everyone else so I'll just buy cash cards.

Plus the way Rockstar does it is exactly the idea I presented as well back then in Uncharted 3. This is exactly how I want microtransactions to be, so I can't exactly hate my idea, you know.

Okay, so Ghost supports one of the worst forms of micro-transactions by far? Paint me confused.

I understand you completely teammate. It's like the DLCs you can buy for Battlefield 3 where you unlock EVERYTHING. THAT is an advantage, because you pay money for everything just handed to you immediately.

"LOOKING FOR A FASTER WAY TO GET SOME OF THE WEAPONS AND GEAR THAT YOU’VE SEEN BATTLEFIELD 3 VETERANS USING? WE’RE INTRODUCING SHORTCUT KITS THAT WILL HELP YOU GET CAUGHT UP TO MORE EXPERIENCED PLAYERS. EACH KIT UNLOCKS WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT FOR A SPECIFIC CLASS, VEHICLE SET, OR FROM THE CO-OP CHALLENGES. YOU CAN ALSO UNLOCK MORE AT ONCE AND SAVE MONEY; GRAB A KIT BUNDLE AND GET A SET OF KITS AT A DISCOUNT.

WHETHER YOU’RE LOOKING TO GET A JUMP START WITH A CLASS YOU’VE BEEN NEGLECTING OR JUST WANT TO GET YOUR HANDS ON SOME ADVANCED WEAPONRY, IT’S THE WAY TO GO."

Sorry if the text looks stupid, lol it's copied and pasted from the website.

wow no need to yell.

I'm not gonna lie, when I read it I imagined one of those cheesy car commercials where the guy is yelling at you about all the "amazing" deals.

Cash cards provide hardly an advantage. Only because the advantage is minuscule, but does exist, is why people bitch about it. Put a level 20 with 5 cash cards up against a level 120 with no cash cards and see who wins, lolz.

Possibly the level 5 since they would have the ammo advantage and other support.........

The level 5 doesn't even have a micro SMG. Doesn't stand a chance. He/she could have 4 million bullets, they're still going to get whooped.

RP plays a HUGE factor. Which is why RP cards would be extremely lame. I recently made a second character and I'd get dominated by everyone due to the lack of an AK47 or SMG. Cash card isn't going to help me.

Just so we're clear, I agree for the most part but I do think there's an advantage......

I wouldn't say the would get whopped necessarily, Imagine they're not a level 5 but instead a level 11, They'd have basically unlimited ammo.

Superior rank also dosen't mean more skill either...

Everyone that plays DMs and get's paired with people on their team over level 200 have to learn that the hard way.

Superior rank means more weaponry and other things like Off the Radar or Merryweather. Unlimited ammo? I guess if you're fighting for like 6 hours, lol I'm pretty sure everyone has enough funds to fund ammo. It's not like if you have cash cards, you unlock bottomless clip.

Like I said, the advantage is minuscule, and this is only if both players are around the same level. Cash cards aren't saving you from a Combat MG or heavy sniper. You can buy a tank with your cash cards, but you're still going to get tank sniped by the level 90.

Yeah that's what I meant, when that was popular I would get paired with like level 400s that played worse than a level 5.

dns is pure evidence that rp means less than money in GTAO.

maybe you got owned as a low level because you suck... I started a new character and within 1 day had a KD ratio of over 9... before I had the SMG.

the excuses are flowing. hell, at least now they can admit there is a "minimal" advantage... which is still an advantage. thanks all, point proven again.

hypo... you know what, they know by now.

No Hay Bronca is a pretty good Gerald mission to replay at lower levels. Pretty fun as well.

They wouldnt even be able to hold as much ammo as a level 120 because of the ammo cap at lower levels.

Cash card money goes to stupid sh*t, cars, planes, clothes. Even then, a lower level player cant upgrade his car as much as a higher level one, regardless of how much money he has.

WAT

This is Grand Theft Auto. Why do you think everyone whores the Entity? Due to its bulletproof rear, giving you the edge in vehicular combat. Try chasing someone in Blaine County with 0% armor.

Well if thats not what you meant then i have no idea what you meant.

I dont see how a level 5 will have an ammo advantage over me when he can hold a miniscule ammount of ammo and i can hold 9k rounds.

I mean in combat lol

Guns beat cars 99% of the time.

You have a point about the Entity, but even then it's nothing a sticky can't handle
