I was mucking around for the last couple of days (turned level 70) and thought I'd see if I could get a tank down a tunnel (the one under the freeway. Surprised someone today doing this). It's good for escaping police and maybe for a swift passage while having a bounty, but apart from that... Coming from the other end there is a grate that impedes, but I haven't tried the loop that leads to the subway. Might give it a go tonight. As for dwelling I have heard stories of subway travel and camping to escape bounties. It could still be interesting to see what can be done with a tank in the tunnel.
