The commute hack?

I was in this full lobby on the commute, and I noticed that the first place winner got 20k and the second place winner got barely 2k? This has to be a hack, because the max I got on the commute was 7k.

You get more cash for racing clean and not hitting anyone or anything. I was in a pretty full lobby once and me and another guy ended up in front of the pack just slipping streaming off of each other trading first and second places and not ramming. We both finished 45 odd seconds in front of everyone else with the other guy in first. He got around 20K and I got 13.5 with third place only getting a few thousand. This was a rockstar created race too not some user created one designed for large payouts.

You only get more rp for a clean race and that's only 100.

That happens every now and then the first place driver gets the old cash amounts.

The commute used to pay 20k in a full lobby for that short time.

I make that in 3.5 minutes doing Rooftop Rumble, and it's guaranteed first place finish winnings every time. OP all kidding aside if the lobby was DNS modded, I don't think the person would go through all that trouble just for 20k, the modded lobbies were paying billions at it's worst.

I think it's just a fault in the programing. Every so often the payouts in races get funky. Just the other day I came in 3rd on a one lap of 'Through the Grapevine' and got 18 grand. The winner got 3 grand and the second place got two grand. No rhyme or reason. I raced in the same lobby for about 10 races and 3 of them had the same odd payouts. It may have something to do with the glitch where you come in first or second and the races says you placed fourth, or so, and you get the payout for the lower ranking, but it will still show you as first in the end lobby.

 

Most likely this is due to Rockstar messing with the race payouts every other update, and it's causing some issues when older programing comes into conflict.
