How to drop Tommy Gun ?

How do i drop the new Tommy Gun that has been added? I can drop every other gun by holding LB then Y but with the tommy gun it just say "you cant drop a weapon here". Major glitch. f*ck u rockstar.

If so, perhaps you will be able to drop it after it goes off the market...

You're probably not able to drop the sweeper because its supposedly a limited time weapon.

My character won't drop his Tommy Gun but he has no problem with placing a live grenade on the ground right next to his feet. But love the Tommy Gun sometimes I just walk down the street spraying bullets everywhere.
