Doing Missions With Randoms

I've have so many bad experiences with idiot teammates single-handedly failing a mission, because they end up destroying the objective, whether they drive the tankard off a cliff, fail to land the Titan, or blow up the cocaine that I try to complete missions as much as possible by myself.

 

Anyone else do the same, because of similar experiences with retards?

Gotta take risks and put yourself out there to find decent people. It isn't always rewarding but when it is, it is.

With me I would say its 50/50 on wheter the group of people I play with are actually any good or know what to do.

 

Today I was in a number or lobbies where people had no idea what to do or they ran in got shot and died and spectated while I finished the mission. Yesterday however I got in a lobby with three other people and we did about 10 missions and I think we had about 2 total deaths between us all in that time, so you can always come across idiots/bad players but when you get in a lobby with good players its good fun.

In "Base Invaders" I grabbed my Buzzard, blew up all the Lazers, Mowed down hordes of militia, and grabbed the Cargobob.

 

I flew it all the way back to Sandy Shores and just as I was about to land, the Idiots had Ron's plane and crashed it near the swamp. God. Dammit.

 

Sometimes people can be intelligent. Yesterday I found two other people that had this rare thing called a "Brain" and I earned 300k, and had fun.

I can understand when objectives get destroyed or something because it does happen as accidents. However, what pisses me the f*ck off is when you park your car and are sniping from it, but the f*cking random decides to RAM the f*ck out of your car and you, ultimately killing you

Since there really aren't any missions that can't be done alone or with a friend, I never do them with randoms. They are just too retarded. Too many little kids play the game and have no idea how to do anything with care or finesse. They just want to charge in guns blazing and ft up everything. There is a 50% chance that 1 out of 100 might be worth playing with

Exactly the same thing I thought of, the damn retards who try to get in the Cargobob with out knowing how to pick the container and end up crashing into the mountain or into the water, but there's one that always happen more than the others.. they flip the damned thing trying to pick up the container.

I do missions with randoms all the time. 80% works out fine. The earlier in the day the more retarded the kids get.

Hmm, can't say I ever have this issue.. Just the other day I did a mission with two "randoms".

 

I ran them both over and completed the mission.

Had a random join my Host Game when playing Coveted.

He as so in a hurry to pick up the container with the Cargobob and almost stacked it, bumping the Cargobob around and then the container started swinging everywhere.

From memory, another random some how destroyed the container...

Hosting Pot Shot with 3 other randoms and one of them parks his PV in front of the bridge entrance / exit.

Sandy Shore Survival, one random goes and hides away, the game tells us we can kick him out... Then he is requesting for an ammo drop...

Me and some random basically competed to be 'that guy' on cat house a little while ago....

I went for my buzzard, he charged the motel. He died, I hit the roof a bit hard and had to reposition so Anna could reach me. He died again, I flew off trailing black smoke...

 

Everything was fine until I started descending near martins and couldn't get any lift when I needed it... I crash by a pool near madrazos but survive and manage to lead her the rest of the way on foot. Success, despite both of us trying really hard to fail...

 

Usually I'm a pretty good pilot. On base invaders I have no trouble taking out everything including the interior guards in the cargobob hanger from my buzzard.

I had this happen to me once. Very frustrating especially seeing as how I think its impossible to crash it in the water as it isnt like there are any sharp turns you need to negotiate or tight spaces you have to get through.

In postshot I always park my car to block the bridge entrance/ exit. You just run over the two guys guarding the bridge park you car to block it and wait for the van to come to you. Shoot the driver while he is trying to get around your car blocking he bridge then deliver the van. Mission complete in two minute only using 1 bullet. Edited February 27, 2014 by Jolly SWAGman

Maybe that's not really necessary with 4 players but I don't see the problem unless he wouldn't move it after the van driver is shot (I've only played this solo or with one other). Blocking the bridge is the go to method for soloing...

Just the other day I host Rooftop Rumble and as soon as we spawn, the one and only guy that joined blows up my Franklin's Buffalo. I couldn't believe it. I've also had other guys on missions run me over for no reason a couple of different times. All in all, they are usually not that bad. I can't fault people for ruining missions, because I've done it on accident my self several times. Taking someones favorite spot in a survival has also lead to problems with online players.

This is the mission where is seems to be glitched and the number while hacking spin past very quickly. This level 3 guy was trying to do with hacking and after setting there for ten minutes watching him fail I was starting to get frustrated. He would not move out of the way. I went and got a car and ran that f*cker over so I could get the hacking out of the way. While I was trying to hack, the level 3 respawned and them and their mate began trying to shoot me not realising you cant kill other players with guns during a mission. I stopped hacking and started just giving them the bird. They went and got into one of their personal vehicles and begun trying to run me over so I just shot their tyres out. They both ended up just fighting the police before dying and leaving so then I just finished up by myself. I think I got $750. Thanks Simeon you cheap bastard.

 

TL:DR - I just told a very cool story. Bros

Yeah do that when playing solo...

 

But with 4 players, I manage to get into the van and the other 2 a waiting for me to leave, the player who has parked his PV in front of the bridge has gone off killing the gang and his PV is only accessible to him hence none of use can move his car out the way.

 

Well I hosted it just to play solo and just so happen 3 other players wanted to join, so I let them in for more RP level up.

Just get the van and get the hell out of there, but randoms just wanna kill everything.

 

But besides that, so far so good, all the missions I have done with randoms, seem to be fine.

I do missions with randoms and no mic all the time! I would say 90% of the time it ends up being good, and probably half of that we end up doing several missions together. I've also solo'd each mission at least once, so that's always an option.

 

The 10% can be a real bummer though, as you get the people who sabotage the missions.

Played Turbine Carbine once and as soon as the mission started, this dude tried to take off in my Cheetah. Thank god for passengers only vehicle access but I had to wait for my guy to get in the car, since the other guy kept spamming Y, attempting to get inside, as if it was going to ever happen.

 

When I finally got inside I ran him over and completed the mission

A titan of a job, there was me and another player behind my car sniping the soldiers, then my car catches fire very quickly. I assumed some player shot the car because that never happened before, playing solo or not.
