I like putting $1000 bounties on people.....

lol? the mechanic acts the exact same way, as it doesn't even show how much the bounty is on the map. why wouldn't i put the minimum bounty on him just to save me some cash for the next one??

 

people still go after $1000 bounties the same anyway, so there is no difference except in my pocket

I like getting 1000$ bounties on me, because people are so persistent on coming to get it, they will get killed over and over, for 1000$. Then once they finally claim it, if they are able to, I get a hate message saying "you asshole, only 1000$"

I do it so when I blow up their PV they're out the bounty and around 10k for insurance. It's not much but it makes me feel better in certain situations.

I saw a post a while back. The guy would put 1000 dollar bounties and tell them they aren't worth more than that. Needless to say, I stole his approach lol

I've said this for a while. Why spend $9K? Spend $1K and you piss the person off AND make it not lucrative enough for them to go to invite only, etc.

exactly, the only time it would make a difference is if someone saw at the bottom of the screen the $9,000 bounty that appears for a few seconds.... other than that, a $1,000 looks exactly the same as a $9,000 bounty.

A cheap bounty still gets the same reaction. People still go after, no matter what. At least that way you save some pennies

Yeah one time there was this guy that got a million dollar bounty in my server, and I had a 1k dollar bounty on me. So the guy left and since I was the only bounty in the game everyone thought I had the million dollar bounty on me... Had half the server coming after me, it was pretty fun cause they followed me just about everywhere. Then a guy finally killed me while I was getting in a submarine and he raged because he didn't get the amount of money he was hoping for lol.

I always do $1000 bounties and like hearing their reaction. Then I see the victim get murked by a bunch of people and suddenly he's not laughing anymore. Bounties are also useful when you're dealing with a bitch who keeps going in and out of passive. Set one on him and he won't be able to get back to passive until it's claimed.
