Theirs absolutely no reason for them to do that. They could easily create their own character it isn't hard. It could be a coincidence sure but theirs to many similarities. I don't think she'll win but rockstar need to stop stealing everybody else's sh*t and come up with their own ideas. One of these days their going to slip up and it's going to end very badly for them. R* Never stole her life or her background, the story to that character in GTA V was connected to a fictional Crime family that existed back in GTA IV, its called the Ancellotti family. And now that we all know GTA IV was developed in 2007 to 2008, that stupid Mobwives show premiered somewhere in 2010 to 2011... In that case she won't really do well in court. Also, $40 Million is pocket change to Rockstar as they've made over $1 billion in revenue off the game. This happened exactly when GTA IV was released. Jack Thompson sued Rockstar because he thought a lawyer in game (the one in The Interview) was a parody of himself. As far as I know, he lost due to Rockstar being protected by parody laws and the fact that they included the statement above at the start of the game. On a serious note, I think these sort or complaints are always going to fall flat on their backsides. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm fairly certain that in most major economies, particularly the US, you have THE RIGHT TO PARODY. So as long as you don't do anything that's directly slanderous or use real names, the chances are you're safe. It's kind of more fool them if they come out and say a GTA V character is like them... oh, that really messed up, dysfunctional character is based on you?! Yet a side mission parody of her joke of a life was more entertaining. It doesn't surprise me that a fat slob who tries to financially capitalize on her dad being a Gambino snitch through reality TV would make plans to capitalize on a parody of that same reality series' characters (of which she happens to be the least interesting). Half of these lawsuits wouldn't exist if R* didn't make such a successful game. The funniest part is that all of these dumb-ass celebs suing them fail to realize that the entire series is cynical satire of American culture. Their association with these parodies highlights their burden to America's culture. Guess there's no such thing as bad press.
