I prefer the looks of the double TT but obviously the Akuma is a better performer...shame.

No amount of skill will prevent you from being overtaken on a straightaway by a faster bike.

Why does everyone think the Akuma is better at turning than the Bati lol

I had the Bati, replaced it with the Akuma to try it out, hated the wide turning so bad I got the superior Bati back. Plus it looks cooler

Even if all races were made of straightaways, that wouldn't be true because of slipstreaming. The 'top speed' difference between Bati and Akuma is fairly small, all things considered, and the former has only a couple of seconds difference to the latter when raced to its fullest potential, which most people can't do anyway. Besides, races are won and lost in corners. Edited by gorskiegangsta

Anyone have a double TT?

Just those of us who like smoking Akuma racers (lol) and listening to them try to figure out how they got smoked.

Bati and Double-T are the same object with different skin and sound files. PERIOD end of story, everything else is in people's heads.

Presumably the Bati is supposed to be an inline-4 bike and the Double-T a V-twin, just by listening to their sound. For that reason i went with the Double-T, I like the sound of V-Twin better, and I prefer the paint scheme of the Double-T better.

I had both Bati & Double-T and there is literally zero functional difference. I can set best laps with either one. I probably win 95% of motorcycle races I enter regradless of which bike I used, beating an entire field of Bati's and a few retards on Akumas

I had a Bati and replaced it with an Akuma. Won more races on the Akuma than i did on the Bati because of the handling. Don't have either of them now though, i try to avoid motorcycle races.

Akuma on two wheels.

Bati on one wheel.

Then you have to ask yourself, in how many situations can you rationalize getting the Bati repeatedly up on 1 wheel to justify it over the Akuma?

Straightaways are impractical and uncommon.

And then you have the kicker: Akuma is miles ahead when pavement turns to dirt and horizontal planes develop slopes and inclines. Go ahead, try it out.

Used to replaced it with my chrome Sanchez, the double t is the best unknown bike in the game, just like tinsel towers, keep it quiet so others don't discover it, let them keep there crappy weazel towers and akuma,

Chrome Sanchez because you can't

I'm also pretty sure there is a way of surviving any kind of jump with the Bati.. I was screwing around with huge jumps and landing while braking in the air and landing in a certain angle and it didn't crash. However the next time it did even though i landed perfectly.

I'm trying to experiment with much of the same on my Akuma. It's not a certainty, but doing a full flip seems to mitigate that distance from the fall. Similar to how hanging off of a ledge drops the distance between you and the ground by your height. I've been able to survive and not fall off my bike from the jump located near Martin's and the Golf course more often than not doing this vs not at all.

So true, the Akuma completely dominates in off road, especially steep hills. I love getting a bounty and having people chase me. Tight turns in the city and off roading through the hillsides...

Say that to people with top time lap times the Bati is the no.1 bike on almost every track for a reason.

If you have the skill and can wheelie it outbeats the Akuma in every situation.

It's better offroad I will give you that and on very small tight turns there is not much difference.

Seeing as the game has about 4 tracks with turns every second the Bati is by far the better RACING bike as that is what the O.p wants

I would say the Akuma since that's the bike I've had more success with in races. The Bati has a somewhat steep learning curve since you need to wheelie in order to go fast with it.

Akuma is the best. Bati = herpderp commute mode

Difference is much more visible than entity/adder

Were those times achieved while racing against others though?

Hexer!

As long as you treat the start like a demolition derby anyway - you're so much heavier you'll never get spun out by a collision and it's almost impossible to fall off

bati, the akuma not being able to pull off big wheelies kinda ruins its purpose to be an all around racer

I have a fully modded Bati RR, yet I still have a hard time catching Sanchezs in races. So does it really matter? I own the real life version of the Akuma (Ducati Monster 1200) and a trail bike, so I can say that most definitely the dirt bike cannot outrun the monster. Yet in GTA the laws of physics and mechanics != real life.,

For nearly all tracks the Bati is superior. - You must wheelie though.

The ONLY time an Akuma is going to be faster is if there is no opportunity to wheelie.

(I can't even think of a track like that)

I use the Double-T.

It's quite fast, but not so fast as the Bati...

But it looks awesome soooo..... yeah

Bati = steep learning curve, very true. It needs to be on one wheel a lot to beat the Akuma, its less stable over bumps and although it can turn a little sharper, the Akuma is more progressive through turns using rear wheel braking. Ultimately, it all depends on how you ride and how often you fall off.

Give me my Daemon anyday.. I've beaten dozens of fools on Bati's and Akuma's with that thing.. seems like a lot of players don't know how to ride bikes.. lol.

Akuma

slower

looks like crap

Sounds awesome

Handles great

I personally prefer the Akuma's appearance:

That being said, I've seen some nice paint jobs on the Bati too. Just think it comes down to preference where aesthetics are concerned.

If this is an Akuma, how did you remove the mudguard on the front wheel ??
