PS3 Network getting losing network connection

Has anyone experienced getting "booted" from the PS3 online GTAV game. Was playing last night was able to do a job but as soon as it was over lost connection. Almost a minute exactly every time.

Yea had it a few days ago about 4 times in succession and once last night about 9.30pm. Im with virgin for my ISP. Error is 'Disconnected from GTA:online due to an unknown connection error' ?

 

Annoying as im not loosing connection from my Wifi etc and not being booted offline.

Ya me 2 .. f*ck this shiiitttt i didnt play a game for 5 mint without error in a 3 hour long ....

If this is happening to you constantly, you really need to check what else is happening on your network when you're trying to play the game. For online gaming, upload bandwidth is more important than download bandwidth. More importantly, you should make sure your PS3 has an open connection to the internet. Usually, this is accomplished with NAT Type 2 and UPnP enabled. Avoid running peer to peer file sharing apps (e.g. BitTorrent) unless you can set limits to reserve some constant upstream bandwidth for your online gaming; otherwise, they may consume most of your upstream bandwidth and strangle your PS3's gaming connection.
