No I'm not. I've not even encountered a tank since I restarted a couple of weeks ago

Anyway, don't remember the last time I used mine. Mostly when pals/crew get together with em and even then, we're messing with each other or the cops. Most others (if in FM) just stay clear... so we're good there.

 

And well... I kinda was a bit taken aback when I first saw them in the game. It's like having an Issi in Battlefield. Would just seem out of place. But fine, they're in the game. I just wonder why cop cars keep throwing themselves at you? Wouldn't it make more sense if the proper military vehicles spawned to come deal with you when you have a wanted level?

There are just a few tweaks that R* can do to balance tanks, still keep them relatively powerful (but not overpowered as they undeniably are), but lessen their effectiveness as troll-mobiles

 

1. Slow down the ridiculously unrealistic fire rate. Yeah, I know it's GTA, but this is a tank being piloted by one person we're talking about.

2. Slow down the turning radius a tad

3. 6-star military replacing retarded suicide cops

4. NO personal vehicle insurance payments related to tanks in any way

5. Cool-down time when calling for another one, and the only pickup locations would be at more logical places like docks or Sandy Shores airport. Not at a f*cking police station, race track or movie theater. Make it a little more difficult for people to get to their rampage locales.

 

I'm confident those 5 things would help big time and make a lot of people happy, aside from the people who rely on them or like ruining a lobby that's having a good time.

Tanks do pay insurance and do get bad sport warnings if they are moving. As long as they are staitionary they get away with it which is just so awesome. Someone annoys me, it's out with the tank and cost them a fortune. However, unlike you and most tank griefers, if another player asked me to pay for their unnecessary loss I would do seeing as I can easily afford it and not notice the money as gone.

I have yet to blow up anyone in my tank even tho i own one. Tanks to me are a bitches tool. The only tank kills i have is from sniped twankers.. in which i jack it and troll them with their own tank.

 

 

Same goes with stashing my cash.. I don't grief.. I deal with idiots that attack me and simply don't pay their insurance. Which is easily solved by NOT attacking me for no reason.

 

Sure i can afford it.. I just choose not to give them that joy of "HAHA YOU PAY"...

I have sniped 5 tanks in one session just the feeling is amazing they were 3 guys rolling with tank once shot while I was in the shop so I teleported got a chopper went to maze bank I picked my sniper and shot everywhere until I killed them it was so funny they just kept going back to their tanks hahah

Most of people won't notice they are receiving damage whilst in tanks they think that they are invincible which is not true
