ADAMunknown Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I dont go around blowing up cars unless provoked - but its stupid that im automatically given a "bad sport!" notice for getting revenge on some prick running me over or griefing - last time I blew a car, a group of 4 had just gone into freemode from a survival - we all spawned at sandy airfield, and and started a gang war in the hanger - once done with that some OTHER player that had also joined the gang attack (unbenownst to us) waited till we were done and vunerable and then blasted ALL of us with a shotgun - so well, we all respawned and owned his ass - AND of course, his car had to go lately ive been trying to shoot cars to the point of flames - and then leave session before it blows, havent been charged yet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd Only agree if they had to pay your insurance plus $2000 dollars for the inconvenience.Try to actually shoot people instead of using sticky bombs. It's not that hard. As if someone has attacked you out of the blue, if you blow there car up +1 of the amount of times they blew yours up, you're fine for X amount of time between PV explosions. That would keep the ability to go back and forth alive without suffering other than $. However, once you get over +1 you should start getting bad sport. Obviously that +1 is hypothetical and I would definitely get it if it was +3 to +5. Once the timer runs out, you're back to bad sport. However, after that +whatever, you're griefing. Hell, I blew up one car, surprised I did, and got a bad sports thing.. lol Doesn't bother me, don't care if I blow up someone's ride or get a bad sport rating. Honestly Rockstar is cutting players a lot of slack, considering the only ways you can get into a bad sport lobby is blowing up a whooole lot of PV's, leaving a whooole lot of lobbies/games, and exploiting the game for profit. Not at all im a moral decent player who only defends himself, Once or twice a day if deserved - Im not sure how the Bad Sport system works, but blowing up single car shouldn't give a warning at all... IF you read the quoted post above, the player has (thinks they have anyway) figured out a way around it. OWN UP ALREADY. If you play like a pain in the ass, then face up to it. What's not fair is for a player to spend hours to build up a car just so you can come by and screw it up by camping outside the Customs Shop, and then set that car owner to the task and effort to get that car back. Its give and take in LS and if you pay attention what comes around goes around. Bad sport or not. WE ALL DO IT. MadHaTT3R Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Ive only blown up 2 cars in this game intentionally. Player cars at any rate. I see absolutely no need to destroy the players ride. If I cant get him, thats on me. There have been a couple of players who just needed to pay for being jerkwads. Then I put my morality away and get busy getting busy. Its become to easy for players (possibly like the op) to just run around throwing nades, C4ing, etc. and never having to pay for it. Then they cry about being a bad sport, when in fact thats what they are. The Bad sport system does seem to ignore when the instance is accidental or as revenge, but at least its something in place to avert the problem getting to out of hand. Imagine if there were no consequence at all, just how insane it would get. Speaking of getting insane, last night 5 or 6 random guys congregated around a spot to check out some new cars we all had built. Random guy see's a group, 2 nades later everyone is dead and everyones cars are destroyed. Our fault for gathering I guess, but the fact that guy didnt have to pay for any of it, is the real issue. T-Roc Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I'm tired of the crying on either side regarding bad sport concerning blown up vehicles. Those who get their vehicles destroyed, who cares it's GTA what do you expect from this game, any unidentified player marker on your screen should be considered a threat; plus that person pays the insurance for it anyway (in most cases). Those who are destroying vehicles shouldn't complain either because you have to destroy a ridiculous amount of vehicles to be put in the bad sport pool; so if you reach that number you deserve it. I love to raise hell in between missions and races, I have blown up many vehicles and haven't spent a second in a bad sport pool so I have no complaints regarding the system.
