If with regards to crew - I am the "Vice President". My friend is the leader, so naturally I join my friends crew...

My crew is 6 people, only 5 of us are consistently on. 1 is my brother, the other two people are people I've been in numerous clans with since Socom on PS2.

 

Since 2002...gad damn.

How I met my crew:

 

Was in some random mission with 3-4 other people in early November-ish. They were talking mad "Nukka" smack. N-word this and N-word that. I kept quiet but they kept giving me a hard time for being a white chick.

 

After the match we spawned in free roam mostly by ourselves. The leader dude from their small group (not clan) started talking sh*t about a Spacedocker that he said I probably never seen. As soon as he pulls it out of his garage BOOM. I shout a racialy charged statement through the mic and been with them ever since.

 

Haven't logged in since mid-Dec... so they probably are in IRL prison by now.

I was always up late grinding missions and ran into a couple of guys (repeatedly) that were always on around the same time doing the same thing. It made sense to join just for the cash/RP bonuses. The fact that they're cool as sh*t is a bonus.

Was invited as a prospect to the Lost, Blaine County. Might just join. Unless something better comes along representing Blaine County.

Joined my crew b/c my brother and I met the leader when he was really starting to promote the growth of the crew, so my brother (who lives across the country from me) joined and I followed shortly thereafter. We were in another crew, but decided to keep our new crew, the San Andreas Roamers, as the crew we keep active. We are two of the three commishinors.

So it appears that most people join Crews because they have nothing better to do or had an advanced relationship with them prior to Social Club being created.

Was getting a little bored of the same ol' same ol, as in grinding races/missions and all that aside from trolling around with friends. So I found a JDM car crew through a video. One of my best decisions, everyone at the meets are chill and clean players and are all car oriented which allowed me to fit right in. Grew a better loving for the cars in the game, learned new tricks, and met a bunch of cool people. If anyone is ever considering joining a car crew, don't hesitate
