It could work if it was like a gated community of identical mansions, you would go to the gate and warp in to 1 of the mansions and when you left you'd be driving out that gate.

Mansions will never exist on GTAO. Wouldn't make sense to have multiple people living in the same mansion and theres not a chance R* could create enough buyable mansions for every single active player that could afford them. Case closed lock this stupid topic.

Haha Vancouver doesnt have "housing projects" nothing but class in this city. There are parking garages with like 15 floors here. You can probably fit 100 cars per floor in these things. Thats what makes people owning the same apartment realistic. Cant do that with mansions. Driving up to my personal garage and seeing some other player driving out in his ugly ratrod? I can guarantee there will never be any buyable mansions for the one fact of how stupid it would be to walk out my back door to see some other character chilling by my pool drinking MY MARGARITAS. Thinking its his pool or something cause he bought the same mansion as me.

Well thats because an apartment building has multiple units in the same building! And multiple floors of underground garage units all leading to the same street exit. Easier to pretend that my buddy who owns the same weazel plaza apt just has the one right above or below me. As with his garage just being another 10 car garage unit in the same parkade as me. Im sorry but it would be so stupid and frustrating to see another players car pulling out of my PERSONAL mansions garage. Unless Rockstar can create enough buyable mansions that you'll never own the same one as another player in the lobby, then i don't think it would happen.

It's all speculation. The $3.5 million cash cards and the $66 mil they just made from sales it wouldn't surprise me. If you think that Playboy Mansion that's sitting in front of the golf course is worth less than $50 mil you're the one smoking meth not weed.

 

All the rich players complain about is not having enough things to spend their money on. Why would $20 or even $50 million dollar mansion be insane?

WOW, somebody with an imagination! How about a trailer park in SS? Mountain condo's...... I'm sure the creative types at R* can think of a lot of scenarios that won't ruin our game immersion while giving us additional properties.

 

They've got me convinced already there are 20 + floors in my underground garage on Alta St.

What I was thinking is, the entrance of the house and garage are the same as apartments. But once inside, you'll be in your own world like in golf. You'd then be able to walk around your fenced backyard and inside your house without anyone shooting 85mm shells at you.

" Mansions " is OP's way of saying additional properties. A Mansion may or may not be the highest end of those offerings which could include;

 

Trailer Parks

Boathouses

Condos

Cottages

Campgrounds

Mansions

 

all with some much needed additional garage space. As we have tried to beat into your head in the past, there is an infinite number of all of these that could be available (like apartments) if R* chose to make it so.

Apartments make sense because you can have 60 floors with 4 apartments per floor. Each player is in a different apt. Lets say apt 40 for 400,00 is one of 16 identical apt amongst 4 floors. Makes a lot more sense than 16 people living in the same mansion pulling out of the same driveway with the same damn swimming pool in the back yard. They'd have to have at least 1000 buyable mansions to make it so you were never in the same lobby as someone who owns the same mansion as you. As well as friends and crew members not being able to have the same mansion.

May b 60 floors but there are only 2 apartments at most (some only have 1 ) in each building you can buy! I havn't run into anyone in the halls yet. and I think everyone pulls out of the same driveway now. If your having trouble suspending belief ponder this; with 240 apartments in that building the garage must hold over 2400 cars!

 

Regardless whether its mansions, houses, trailers, cardboard boxes or apartments, they will all work the same. The facades and interiors will look different.

So if A owns mansion 1 and b owns mansion 2 and c owns mansion 3 , they will be on the same server. BUT if a & c own same mansion , they would be on diffrent server. If this would be used, everybodys got the home peace. You know ? If somebody didint get this , i can explain better

I can't see it ever happening at all. The logistics wouldn't really work out without it looking like a clusterf*ck. The space outside the garages are too small. The apartments make sense because its a large underground garage and an apartment can have multiple tenants whereas a mansion CAN have mutiple tenants but the avaible space would be tiny and unrealistic.

Mansion's will never happen. Rockstar want's us to have sh*tty stagnant condo's in the core of the city so our vehicles get destroyed upon leaving by a 12 year old in a tank.
